Since today I'm getting this warning and I can't get the tool working anymore:

> Failed to connect - System.Runtime.InteropServices.COMException (0x80004005): Beim Aufruf einer COM-Komponente wurde ein HRESULT E_FAIL-Fehler zurückgegeben.
   bei System.Runtime.InteropServices.Marshal.ThrowExceptionForHRInternal(Int32 errorCode, IntPtr errorInfo)
   bei Microsoft.FlightSimulator.SimConnect.SimConnect..ctor(String szName, IntPtr hWnd, UInt32 UserEventWin32, WaitHandle hEventHandle, UInt32 ConfigIndex)
   bei AirTrafficManager.Main.openConnection()

Any idea what's causing this? :( I have tried re-starting both FSX and Win7 a couple of times, but to no avail.

The strange thing is that out of maybe a 100 times I started it, it was working twice. But I didn't do anything different then...

Phew, got it working again. Looks like my dll.xml and exe.xml files somehow got deleted. Luckily some addon I installed a while ago made backups.

Quite a hassle to investigate but shows how important this tool has become to me. I couldn't imagine doing most flights I do without it... big thanks once more.

How dare you speak for me?!

Besides, it works in FSXSE. Just install all of the older SimConnect versions from "FSX\SDK\Core Utilities Kit\SimConnect SDK\LegacyInterfaces".

I don't know what you guys are doing differently, but the tool still works for me in FSXSE; both the "Refresh" and "Optimize" functions.

Bjoern   " How dare you speak for me?!"    what???????

"WE need this tool".

Your needs are not my needs.

Geez, Bjoern i never even acknowledged you in anything I wrote, and its not like you started the thread....you sound like a sad person...you should "cheer"up :rolleyes:

We need you be less sensitive.

We need you to know that the word "we" is not all inclusive, just plural.

We need you to not be the grammar police.
