To test as clean as possible I uninstalled the Russian Migration Tool, but still no luck.

Denali,

I would like some advice on how to completely remove the functions of this your application. I detected that it was not enough to remove the shader files and empty the cache. There is STILL something strange going on in my setup. I guess it was introduced with the Prepp-application.

My main view (VC with or without cockpit) is now split in the center of the screen and the distortion shader applied - even though I have removed the shader files (in the Shader directory) AND emptied the cache in appdata/local.

I'm wondering if there is something stored within DirectX or the graphics card (AMD)?

Sorry for all the confusion.

I did not understand what was happening. Here is the explanation.

My setup contains two projectors so I need edge blending as well as image correction for my curved screen.

For this purpose I run NTHUSIM. For some reason NTHUSIM and the Post process shaders seems to have some conflicts. So I have to start NTHUSIM *after* I run Prepar3d and setup the views. Otherwise it seems that NTHUSIM hooks into the output of Prepar3d (DirectX renderer) and messes with the P3D window. So my simulator window was split into two sections (as per defined in NTHUSIM). I was thinking this was related to Prepp3d. When I quit NTHUSIM the problem went away.

Now I can enjoy the image without FOV distortion. Now I have to play with FOV settings and camera settings. Thanks ALOT for Prepp3D Views! I will provide feedback after I've tried more advanced settings.

Got it to work !

The values of 6200 x2300 were not enough to get rid of the fisheye. on my 3 monitor in NVsurround.

Now I have 7000x2300 and gone is the fisheye.

Tuned it back to 6860x2530 and no fisheye yet.

One issue : when resizing to expanded dimensions I cannot get the Menu bar to appear anymore. Then I need CTRL + Enter to resize and my Fs window is at the top of the monitors and half of it has disappeared above the monitors.

Then using Resize to Display dimensions and again CTRL + Enter I can get the menu bar where I can choose 2d Cockpit view.

It is working but needs a little finetuning...

It also doesn't work with a Migration Tool installed.

Right.  This is an issue, it's why I have a button for resizing to default size to see the menu.  It needs much work, yes.   I actually hesitate to do much because what I am really looking forward to is getting a block of time freed up to work with LM on making this much more seamless.

@denali,

    Just for interest (too expensive for me), what about using the distortion correction on a SINGLE 4K curved screen to get maybe 120 degrees of Field of View.

Thanks again

 It doesn't cost anything.  It'll work on a single monitor with that resolution, just put in your dimensions, or adjust them with the application.

The screen will cost you about $1500

@denali,

     Is there any further development that you expect at present? It would be great if you maybe started another thread where you provide the latest anti-distortion tool at the beginning and encourage others with three monitors to try it - maybe someone will try the curved single screen with extra wide FOV for their Christmas present - the Samsung 55" 4K is on sale for $1300: (I think you can get as close as 2->3 feet with this one.

Thanks again for your efforts!

He wrote that he would continue working on it so we'll just have to wait...

 Nice price!  Thanks for the motivation.  Things just let up here a little bit; pushed for and got an extension on a timeline, whew!  I need to fly!

Hm this program is interesting, I will try it out at some time.

I have been trying to get a higher FOV using one projector for some time. This may be a trick. I am planning to build a curve screen, or dome (google "idome") using mirrors.

Are you guys using the DSR nvidia feature as well to force higher resolutions? Regards.
