October 9, 201411 yr @Daveo: Are there any bigger (and noticable) differences between RC1 and and the actual SP1? Best regards, Steffen Fight time: NGX 737-700: 37,0h; -800: 47,2h
October 9, 201411 yr Does anyone else get an error with this version? "Error! ASN cannot control ambient weather parameters correctly, thus it cannot function properly at this point and will shut down." Cheers! Maarten
October 9, 201411 yr How did you update, using the full installer or just the update, used the update with no issues I7-8700k,Corsair h1101 cooler ,Asus Strix Gaming Intel Z370 S11 motherboard, Corsair 32gb ramDD4,, gtx 1080ti Card, RM850 power supply Peter kelberg
October 9, 201411 yr I first ran the update, but then I got that error message. I tried to find what went wrong, but couldnt fix it, so I uninstalled the patched version and ran the full install, but still got that same error. Cheers! Maarten
October 9, 201411 yr Author I just ran the patch update, from previous beta (not RC2). That error doesn't happen here, neither in FSX nor in P3D. ASN runs on a different PC than the flight sim does, don't know if that makes any difference. - Jens Peter "Penz" Pedersen

December 23, 201411 yr I too am getting this error as I am attempting to run ASN on a networked PC: I ran the full installer w/ SP1 included in the image as an Admin on the networked PC. I added ASN to the firewall Before I get the Error msg dialog in the bottom status bar ASN reports that its connected On the actual FSX PC: I ran the ASConnect_FSX_Install.exe copied over from the networked PC I deleted the shader files as instructed during the network install. I unchecked weather smoothing in full version of FSUIPC.
