EZDOK very big problem!

Featured Replies

Hi all!

I just Boght EzDok for FSX and i did all the installation and put the serial in etc etc. Then i configured all my planes in the EZCA Config and i started FSX. When i then load an aircraft at an airport and laucnhed the "Addo-ons" tab theres no EzDok in there.

So i closed FSX and checked my EXE file: http://gyazo.com/717a821879566c9bf8794cb980ce962f

After that i tried to "Registry Components" in the EZCA Config and this came up: http://gyazo.com/6714b544ec371dc11de26e44ec1027ac

                                                                                                                                http://gyazo.com/e41ad7d3f6aac25aba8c5513f005ba14

I also tried to launch the grey "EZCA" manually and this came up: http://gyazo.com/8fb268d6712bf6b32b90d4eb15f39e88

Whats wrong with my EzDok? Im sure i did all the steps carefully and correct.

Does anyone know what the problem can be?

Thanks

/Jacob

Are you starting both Ezdok and FSX as an administrator?

Jon Skiffington

Can you confirm which version you have?

Keep persevering, it's an excellent addition to FSX.

Yes, i do.

I got the Version 1.17 sir.

Try allowing EZdok to install to its default location: C:\Program Files (x86)\EZCA

I don't know why this could make a difference but there's no harm in trying. And if you do reinstall (after uninstalling your existing version and deleting all traces of EZCA), make sure you download a fresh copy of FlightOne's wrapper then once installed, update that version to the latest version 1.17. Never reinstall EZdok from the application file residing in C:\EZdok Software.

And as Andrew said, don't give up trying. You won't regret it!

Hi,

I had similar problems....it sounds strange but it was due to my firewall....so I deinstalled my firewall and then a new installation of ezdok....try it..maybe it will work for you too....good luck!

Hi,

have you pressed the button "configure FSX" in EZCAconfig.exe before setting your views?

If I read correctly, this was not his reported problem.
