November 30, 201411 yr Moderator Can't think of anything I eat that smells bad but tastes good, but the worst tasting thing that I drink two times a day are unflavored BCAA shakes. Yuck...Tastes horrible but works great! Avsim Board of Directors | Avsim Forums Moderator
November 30, 201411 yr Author No, as there's nothing at all inappropriate about discussing smelly food in the Hanger chat forum. Now discussing how badly the mechanics in the hanger smell like rotten onions might be a bit over the top... I love Wolfgang Fassbender's comment about Surströmming, "the biggest challenge when eating surströmming is to vomit only after the first bite, as opposed to before." I cannot think of any food that smells worse than kimchi! Thanks Fr. Bill. Lol about the mechanics. I find they smell like oil and gasoline. Something most women would describe as a manly smell lol. You're right about Surstromming. I looked it up on youtube and just about all the vids were the Surstromming Challenge and it looks like everyone was vomitting. I've never treid real kimchi. Closest was kimchi flavored instant noodles. My brother is always buying them but I always see it sealed in the fridge. Next time I'll take a whiff of the stuff. You can get BCAA in pill form. I've also had some good tasting protein shakes which included BCAA and Creatine. But if you eat a lot of red meat, you should be getting very good doses of both. But if you eat a lot of red meat, you should be getting very good doses of both. I've tried the pills but seem to get better results from the power for for some reason. The protein shakes I use are very bland natural versions. Most supplements I take I try to find ones with minimal ingredients, no sweeteners and natural as possible. Usually those don't come with all the extras like BCAA or creatine, so I have to take them separately. Since supplements in the US are pretty much unregulated, I tend to shy away from ones that have a ton of extra chemicals, artificial sweeteners and stuff like that since I don't know why effects those other ingredients might have later in life. Thank for the suggestion though on the pills. Avsim Board of Directors | Avsim Forums Moderator
November 30, 201411 yr Commercial Member What does any of this have to do with flightsimming? If you eat some of the food listed here you will not be able to fly. Regards, Dave Opper HiFi Support Manager
November 30, 201411 yr Tripe (Polish style). my wife hates the smell, though it doesn't smell too bad for me. Love it. Michael J.
December 1, 201411 yr Commercial Member I cant say I like to eat it but the smelliest food I got exposed to was jackfruit (a relative of the durian I imagine) in Tanzania. I can say that Gerald Durrell's description of the appearance and scent of a corpse of a martian baby is quite accurate.
