Learning to fly gliders since 1980

Stopped using flightsims for good since early August 2026, after 34 yrs using some really great specimens... If I'm asked to name the preferred one, after all these years, MSFS 2024 is my answer without hesitation.

(No desktop :-// after the last one crashed for good, so no simming, but I keep polling AVSIM - my main ludic activities spot since around 2006...)

Looks fantastic, can't wait for its release. Flightfactor are improving every time. Great video.

Niiice. Did I not read somewhere that the MCDU would be "limited" in the initial version?

Anyway just picked up the SSG 748i set in the sale, so I'm looking forward to shifting boxes in that freighter. :)

The 748i is an excellent model. I particularly like manually flying the approaches and departures - excellent flight model!

Well, don't confuse a complex (and maybe realistic?) user interface with functionality. We'll see what really is behind the shiny look.

Hypeee the A350 has already it's own section in X-Plane.org payware support

The actual modelling and texturing appears to be improved compared to previous products, including the wing flex. As for sounds and systems, we'll see.

Looking nice and promising but did FF apply the new mouse scroll wheel support for Knobs, 0:49 shows they did not.
