Tips on setting up Real Terra Haze

Featured Replies

I have just discovered the gem that is Real Terra Haze.

In admiring its' potential I am also slightly daunted by the number of options and their combinations. Mindful that people's graphics cards, monitors and tastes vary; I'd still be very interested in knowing your preferred settings. Given that in my version there are four saved states; do you have different ones for summer, winter, clear, cloudy etc.

Any tips gratefully received.....Tim

Hi, I desaturate a bit the colors, too intense and bluish for me. What I would like to know is how to return the water color to the XP10 default, not realistic for many parts of the world (rivers, lakes), and what are the light parameters to restore them to the XP10 default condition.

For seasons sometimes I like to enable the additional fog effects. All in all is an amazing free plugin.

+1 would like to know how to reset the water too.

The supplied presets aren't bad, I usually pick no 3 because a) I can't be arsed to tweak, and b) the lights aren't enormous (which they are with presets 1&2).

You can simply remove the water script from the RTH folder to go back to default water but I have a feeling the default might also have undergone some changes in recent updates.

For the technically ignorant (that;s me), how do you remove the water scrip?

I've looked in the plugins folder FlywithLua  file and couldn't find it.

Thanks TIM.

To be honest I have never been able to know which should be a correct pre-set. That blue haze is it real in real ?

@OP

 I think you need to open the presets in an editor and do the water thing.

 or you can use a water script which is available at the .org and just place it under the scripts folder.

+1...if you don't want to tweak much this is the best preset imo.
