Hi Henrik.

New screens look amazing.

For some reason I can't post a screenshot of my Venice problem - I just get a box requiring me to enter an URL rather than a file location.

You could perhaps PM me an email address - I could send a couple of screenshots that way.

Cheers,  Gary.

Just sent :D

I had installed before and had everythng working well.   I then installed WOAI to work with my UT2 and get it to work with vpilot.

Suddenly all my boat traffic as dissapeared.   I used AIFP to convert any fs9 traffic files to fsx, but that didn't work either.    I then reinstalled the files from the boat zip and still nothing.   SOS!

Thanks

A first guess would be that when you converted you did not tick the option for deleting old FS9 files. I haven't done the conversion with the latest version of AIFP, but at least in previous versions that could happen.

No joy KL.    I have run aifp and rided system of fs9 files to fsx format.   Still nothing with ai boats.

Problem solved, had some fs9 files that were not deleted.   Thanks again for a great add-on!

As usual I can inform of another delay... but also new ships... I travel quite a bit for my job and that is good for modelling which I can do on the plane, but time at home to test routes is very limited.

Have installed as separate downloads to FSX:SE. Now when I arrive at an Airport and shut down my engines I can hear the sound from what I believe is a boatengine, Can I get rid of this?

Yes, it can be done easily by removing the sound files supplied in the package or in a more complicated manner by reducing sound level in the effect files. I can't remember if you can also turn down ambience sounds in the sim settings somewhere and I do not have access to the sim again before Saturday. The sound level has been discussed before in this thread. For some it is too high - for others just right. By removing the sound files you get rid of it and that is probably the most realistic unless you enjoy landing on the ships in helicopter.

Beta testing is starting and serious testers are wanted.

Below a few screenies from testing the routes in the area around the Chinese naval base Zhoushan. The package includes Chinese frigates of the types 54A, 53H3, 53H2G, destroyers of type 52C, landing crafts of Type 72A, houbei class fast attack crafts, Chinese Coast guard vessels...

Ok thank you for your answer. After flying a bit more I get the impression that when you fly closer to ships so that their sound increase that louder sound can be heard after airplane engines shutdown and if not so close not much sound can be heard. So I guess I stay with sound anyway.

Good to hear that. Anyway I will post the names of the files when I get close to the sim again. Now you know what to do.
