PMDG 777 for P3D Coming Soon

Featured Replies

Really looking forward to this one. Not a whole lot of fully functioning airliners for p3d yet, and PMDG is as good as it gets!

PMDG T7 was my favorite tube liner of all time in FSX.  I'm concerned it will be difficult to find an airport to fly in and out of that won't take the simulation to its knees w/ the T7, but hopefully this concern is unfounded.   I remember in FSX I could be at the gate at KSAN and it was actually quite decent.  If it's performing similarly at airports about like KSAN in P3D I'll be quite happy.  My sense though is that P3D steals some CPU demand, perhaps in order to do the work needed to utilize the GPU better, and in doing so can leave the plane itself a little short on resources to exploit.  PMDG would know all about this, but one doesn't hear much about that, or at least I haven't yet.   They might as well broadcast this up front because as soon as it's out word will spread quite quickly as to just how useable something like T7 is in the P3D environment.

Just have to wait and see ... the more interesting news for me is 64bit T7 in a 64bit P3D.

Cheers, Rob.

You talk about a 64 bit version like it's a real thing.

I would like to get the PMDG 737NG and JS4100 into P3D ... maybe by summertime.
