Does anyone have Evolution and if so are you happy with it. I have ASN now. Would it be worth the money ?

Evolution is an older product - the predecessor of ASN. You already have the newest and most advanced weather engine with ASN. You would effectively be downgrading if you it purchased ASE.

It's even older than that!!  lol

ASE was released in 2010 and it was the predecessor to AS2012!!

We are not "trying" to sell it.

It is available for people who are still flying FS9.

Yes...I use it regularly for FS9.  Works very well.

I'll add to that - it's a good product for FS9.  It has the ability to use GEPro as AS6 did and is better at using current METAR and TAF formats.  It takes an unreasonably long time to initialize, but past that hurdle it works quite well.

I only got it recently for PD3, it's the business, it's completely maintenance free, one click and job done, hassle free.

I have it and use it for FSX. I like it, but I really want to move to ASN. I know I can get a discount for upgrading but for my limited income the upgrade price is tough to handle. I have been trying to find a way to compromise with "The High Command" to allow me to justify the purchase. Not sure which approach to use yet.
