The guide was done for fsx, P3D v2.5.

All very old and not really needed anymore with v3

Read the PMDG manual for performance setting in the FMC. That's well worth a read.

Keep enjoying the 777

Not everyone uses P3D v3. I don't need it but I would imagine FSX users would get some benefit from referring to the document to see what changes make a difference for them and what changes don't make a difference.

I commented out the exterior model but I didn't like the feel of the plane. It felt unsubstantial. Uneasy, like there was nothing between me and the ground. Alone in only a cockpit at 34000 feet. Not a good feeling. Although the exterior model increased VAS usage, I added it back into the model. Now, everything is right with the world. All in my head.

hi, i am getting a 404 error, can you give me a link please

Read post #122. The Guide no longer exists. There is no link to something that does not exist. 404 is normal for a dead link.

What does the fact that the particular website removed that file and left a broken link have to do with the document "not existing"..? Do you know what "existance" means..? I'm pretty sure lots of people have it and can send it to the person asking for it.

I had several different links to the manual a couple of weeks ago. I had accumulated these over time when the manual was available. Those links no longer worked so I deleted them.

The manual was not the type a person might save and refer to from time to time. You went thru it recommendation by recommendation and tied them if you wanted to. Once I was done with the last item it was file 13 or the recycle bin if you will. Maybe some one saved the manual. I certainly didn't.

The gentlemen in post 122 created the manual. I highly doubt that you could get it from him, but you can always try.
