but in my dream PMDG released their 744 the same day!! Oh well Im downloading now!! Thanks for the heads up

Yes it is, but has been taken down due to extreme server load. You would have thought that they would have sorted themselves out before releasing it, knowing they would have high demand..........AnthonyUK

I think I will wait to hear user feedback.Dale

This is unacceptable, downloading a payware 100mb file at 17kb. They excuse themselves saying they didnt expect this hit on the server, come on please. They used Simmarket before with AS4, but now they decided to cash in and leave the costumers with a crappy download.I hope the program is so good it will make up for this mess.

You can't be serious?I suppose suggesting to try downloading later when the server is less congested is out of the question. :-rollEric

If it is unacceptable for you, why not wait for a couple of days to get a faster download speed?Ray Keattch

You bet im serious, im a paying costumer and wont accept any delay at all in getting what i paid for. This is something that could easily have been avoided by using Simmarket as they used to, but offcourse that cost money.

OHN,Take a deep breath, take a walk and relax. Your life must be pretty busy, I guess. I hope its getting any better soon. You really make a fool of yourself.Regards,Henri

Hi guys,Lets all please take a breath, OHN has a legitimate complaint... I can understand the position he is in.We are doing all we can at the moment to improve things, and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this has caused you. We have hundreds of 100mb downloads going on and everything is being pushed to the limits. As to easily avoiding this, I don't know about that, every system has its limits. And for months now many users have encouraged us to bring our own e-commerce system online, enabling us to more directly support our customers... After many months of preparation we have done just that. Unfortunately our files are huge and our performance optimizations on the download delivery side are limited at this point, but that will soon be changing.Again we are sorry for all the traffic and delays, and we appreciate your patience throughout all of this.Best,

The screenshots look nice but I'm most interested in hearing frame rate reports running the various cloud texture sizes and especially those 512x512 textures. I have been using smaller cloud texture sizes so that overcast can actually provide cloud density that looks like overcast at more than 2fps.

OHN...even paying customers have to queue, or in American, wait in line. I can remember having to queue overnight in lines literally a mile or two long in the seventies to get to see some of the great rock bands.

D/l'ing at 20kbs. Gonna go watch F1 qualifying in the meantime :(

$28 is kind of on the steep side for LOYAL customers....I need someone to tell me what the advantage AS 5 is over 4.5 paired with Flight Environment from Flight One. It appears it is only a combo pack comprising of AS 4.5 and FS Skyworld.Features / advantages, Please!Barry
