There's only one of my flight videos on the web these days ...a black comedy called Death of a Flightsim  (not for the faint-hearted though ;-)..

 

Another was called "First Flight" - where a total novice takes a flying lesson in a plane with a Windows PC as a tutor ...with predictable results ;-).  I no longer have that video, but if anyone still has a copy, let me know.  Here's the original forum link.....

Does anyone know if one license can be used on multiple O/S?  I dual boot between Windows and OSX and would like to have this available in both without paying twice. Possible?  I couldn't see anywhere on their website where they say either way.  Thanks!

Only thing I can suggest is slog through the EULA minutia and see if anything is mentioned.

I think I am going to have to buy this. The little boy inside who loved making complicated cities around his (expensive!) N scale trains just can't resist.

I like the concept of Cities Skylines but feel it looks quite dated (circa 2004?).  I'd almost prefer to run it in sepia or monochrome rather that have the existing 'toy-town' colours. But I see where you're coming from in terms of using something similar to this to create cities and towns etc.

 

I actually think that one of the things that make so many people reject X-planes plausible world is the super-subdued color palette that leaves an overall "grey" feeling to everything. Though I have often seen people commenting on the FSX (and Orbx) "cartoon" color palette, Observation (I specifically started taking some harder looks at the real world, especially cities) leads me to conclude that the world is generally much closer to being overly colorful than it is to being grey. In fact, if there is any overwhelming color "tendency" in real cities, it seems to be just about everything but grey!

 

 

In other words, I have few issues with the colors in Cities: Skylines except for perhaps the overuse of "flat/saturated" colors, like all red trains etc, which are indeed cartoon-like.

I've already put in over 50 hours into this game, by far the best city building simulator out there in my opinion. I had no idea they were introducing night-time into the game as well. Very pleased with this announcement!
