Hi all , how i load a preset downloaded on site SweetFX? I tried tried and tried using mediator :(

You can't. They completely changed the formatting. I actually think the mediator is way easier to use since they redesigned it.

Great to finally see a 1.0.  We should probably start a consolidated 1.0+ settings thread to share our own effects.

I tried the new version and selected some of the same effects I had with the older version. The same effects were very different in the new version and also the new version would not hold in windowed mode (sometimes it worked, most times it did not and the old version was rock solid). So I am back to the older version and it works perfectly.

I download ReShade 1 and pointed the mediator to the P3D.EXE file. However, I dont get any conformation upon starting P3D that it works. Moreover, when I start adding effects, everything stays the same, so apparently somethings wrong. 

 

Did you add the files manually or did the mediator run OK for P3D 2.5? Also, are there any ways of switching between default and ReShade within the game? Like scroll lock with SweetFX?

Check for \p3d\dxgi.dll.

 

If not present, just do it manually copy ReShade32.dll into \p3d\ and rename to dxgi.dll

Thanks, I might try it again. The other problem with the new version is that it has a different look for the same settings as the older version. 

 

I use the Watchdog Tonemap for all my videos and in the early beta version  of reshade it looks great but in the new 1.0 version it looks like holloween.

When both P3D and Mediator started, have you gone into Mediator's pipeline tab and activated some effects ?

TheLazy's database is really poor when it comes to P3D/ReShade1.0 :'(

On the other side, anyone successful at videocapture alongside with reshade running ? 

Have the feeling that captures and reshade hooks doesn't mix well altogether.

Im trying with the h264 hardware codec which is onboard GTX card (kepler thing). Works great out of the box but reshade won't do.

I'll post my presets from my FSX pc, but in the meantime here are a couple I've uploaded last night.

 

 

 

 

In my opinion ambient light is what is really missing from default FSX.

When combined with some of the shaders I've listed before - mainly used to improve IQ - the ambient light shader is what really makes the difference.

I also use Shade, which helps the overall atmosphere with its presets for brighter light and gray day.

EDIT: Well now I got to work, halfway. It say "succeeded" but the message disappear right away. Pressing scroll lock ingame after changing settings within the Mediator does nothing. *******, how hard cant this thing be?!?!

On the website of SweetFX there are 2 profiles to SweetFX 2.0. Doesn´t work?

Anyone using this with Steve's DX10 fixer? I'm just not able to get AA looking just right (VC text and edge lines are always slightly jagged, even if settings like Lumasharpen are off). Would appreciate anyone sharing nVidia/DX10 settings.
