Open up the WoAI installer, select FSX and point it to the P3D main folder with the FSX.exe inside it and install your packages.

Not a good idea to be placing "proxy" executables within legitimate install directories. An easier (and safer) way to do it is to place the proxy file into it's own directory, then commence with installing the WOAI packages and then copying all of the new files into the appropriate subdirectories of your main sim. Reason for this is that if at any time in the future that you need to do a reinstall, you already still have all of the WOAI files ready to be copied again right back where they were. It'll save a lot of time and headache. December 7, 201510 yr If you had WOAI already installed in your FSX then its pretty simple. I added the SimObjectsPath line to the cfg directing it to my AI_Aircraft folder (actually on another drive). Moved my traffic files to the Scenery/World/scenery folder. Went in to the AIFP application and hit recompile. And that was it. They showed up. Jason Weaver - WestWind Airlines; FlyUK Airlines; VirtualUnited.org
December 7, 201510 yr Went in to the AIFP application and hit recompile. FSX formatted traffic bgl's are the same as for p3d, there's no need to recompile them for P3d. i7-13700KF, 32gb DDR4 3200, RTX 4080, Win 11, MSFS 2024
February 28, 201610 yr FSX formatted traffic bgl's are the same as for p3d, there's no need to recompile them for P3d. Does these instructions apply also when moving AI traffic from FS2004 to P3d? Tapani Österberg
February 28, 201610 yr Does these instructions apply also when moving AI traffic from FS2004 to P3d? FS2004 traffic files will work in FSX and P3d, but will be a day out of sequence. FS2004 formatted files will also cause any FSX formatted traffic to not show up in the sim. The whole idea is to keep ALL of your AI traffic plans on the same format thats relative to your sim. i7-13700KF, 32gb DDR4 3200, RTX 4080, Win 11, MSFS 2024
