August 27, 200520 yr >It is a masterpiece! Wow! Thanks so much!>>http://mywebpages.comcast.net/geofa/pages/rxp-pilot.jpgThanks Geofa...we hoped you would like it and are glad you do!:-)
August 27, 200520 yr >Do I need Net Framework installed to run this aircraft?>>DougHi Doug, just got in from dinner and wanted to reiterate that the suggested system requirements are ONLY suggestions...we are not in the business of advising folks on their hardware purchases. We can however state that we had no success with our Cirrus SR20 when Microsoft.Net Framework 1.1 was not present on the test machines.
August 27, 200520 yr I stopped at the Cirrus Factory in Duluth last year on a trip in my Baron and had a tour of the plane. You guys really got it it right-simply amazing! Thanks again! With gas prices I have been thinking a lot about the Cirrus-Thanks to you I'll get used to it on the sim first!http://mywebpages.comcast.net/geofa/pages/rxp-pilot.jpg Geofa WANTED DEAD OR ALIVE-the best Flight Sim!
August 27, 200520 yr Ron,When I installed I did receive a message "overwriting a protected file". I pressed OK but have not seen that on other Flight 1 installations. The instruments are not smooth at all. I'm going to uninstall and re-install to see if it makes a difference. Thanks.Bob.. :) Bob Prince

We have to thank our real world Cirrus pilot beta testers for the realism you see..they really made us work:-) :-)

August 27, 200520 yr ...ive also been getting very poor smoothness/fps performance from this plane using the lite vc model. Really cant understand it as ive never seen such a small plane with such a huge performance problem on my machine before..i get better results with much larger aircraft such as LDS767/PMDG737/PC-12/DF Bonanza and carenado 182 as well....strange, but judging from the vc textures it must be the gauge programming bottlenecking the performance here..i never expected this plane to use THAT much processing power but after working my way through all the functions of the PFD & MFD i can see why...nice plane..wouldnt mind owning one for REAL, lol.using a 3.0gig P4 w 1 gig mem and 9800pro gpuDave Dave Kalin Excel Classes Computer Lessons

August 27, 200520 yr its the 128mb version, Ron. You think the 256 version would make a big difference?..if so im not gonna worry about it because next spring ill probably be building a new machine and might end up putting in a gforce 7800....been with ati for the past 3 or 4 years now and really dont like them so im going back to nvidia next time around.Dave Dave Kalin Excel Classes Computer Lessons

August 27, 200520 yr i hear ya, Ron...but since Bob is running a 3.8 gigger and a 256mb gpu with similar results i think for now ill just stay put with the 128mb card and chalk it all up to being "a plane ahead of its time", hehe.Dave Dave Kalin Excel Classes Computer Lessons
August 27, 200520 yr I did luck-out for a factory demo straight from Duluth, although I sat in the back; but the plane was their newest fully equipped model. Had the Avidyne glass panels along with XM Satellite weather, other aircraft warnings & terrain/obsticle warning. Very impressive, even if it's a "plastic" airplane... :D We did a bit of mountain scenery cross-country on auto-pilot with a stereo system & Bose noise-reduction headsets.............nice!L.Adamson

August 27, 200520 yr >Knowing these guys and how serious they are about their work I>knew the answer, but tested it anyway...Hi Mom!Absolutely beautiful, Mike! I gotta hand it to you, you really have a way with the Type Tool ;) Seriously though, I'm happy to see the texture isn't stretched over the top of the fuselage. Assuming the same holds true for every other surface on the plane, it'll do well for repainters.>>* Can you move the eyepoint enough in every direction to>>"sit" in the rear passenger seats?>>With or without ActiveCamera?>>With ActiveCamera, I can walk all the way to the rear of the>PMDG 737 with virtual cabin, so surely I can "sit" in the back>seat of the SR20 or Cessna 182 or whatever....That would be without ActiveCamera :) I could have mentioned it, of course, but I (mistakenly) assumed that most know of the built-in eyepoint's limitations which do not exist in ActiveCamera (to my knowledge). Thanks for the verification, though. On another topic, the .NET framework requirement popped up earlier - does anyone know if there is a non-beta / test version of .NET for Windows x64 available yet? I was looking for it some two or three weeks ago and could only find references to some development version of what will become .NET 2.0 that was not yet intended for end users. Also, Ron: is .NET required for the installer part of your G2 package or does the aircraft itself (gauges, etc) require it?
