EagleSoft Cirrus SR20 G2 Released!

Oh, is it really so that the real one doesn't have one either? Sounds strange :) How do you set the takeoff trim in real?Actually at least for me, it was perfect that Ron gave the download link here. It helped many and that's probably the point of AVSIM - to support flightsimmers.

i agree...it definately helped both eaglesoft from losing sales and it helped the simmers who wanted to get it NOW instead of waiting...a win/win situation for sure.I just hope avsim will help other devs in the future in this same way so that noones feelings will be hurt here today, thats all.Im not saying this sort of help wasnt offered in the past to other devs behind the scenes when necessary...but if it was, i never noticed and it doesnt seem fair to the other devs who may have needed this sort of help previously.Dave

Dave, no harm intended to simmers or other developers...sorry if we offended some other devloper.

Ok guys,I'm a newbie to flight sim stuff so I am clueless as to what to do now that I have downloaded this program. How do I get it into my MS sim? This is a serious blow to my computer geek/nerd pride.ThanksVisionchaser Man

well, welcome to the forums...if i was you, id stick to default aircraft for starters. To make shure you are comfortable with fs, id stick with default planes. Then when you feel secure enough, test your skills by downloading more complex, freeware aircraft. I wouldnt consider paying 30$ for an addon aircraft if you are new to fs.Id get comfortable and build up experience first.. Just me reccomendations..:-wave

lol...misunderstanding. if you feel safe with more complex aircraft, this could be a good starter plane. Very nice.

>lol...>>misunderstanding. if you feel safe with more complex aircraft,>this could be a good starter plane. Very nice. In a just released study, the test compared new student pilots with analog instruments, versus new students beginning with glass panels. Testing went through beginner private pilot to the instrument rating. The analog users were ahead of the glass panel students during the earlier weeks, because the glass panel students were absorbing more of the instrument skills while still developing basic flying skills. In the end, that glass panel students beat the analog users by quite a margin to finsh & obtain the instrument rating. L.Adamson

>Wish I could buy it (along with the Citation and possibly>others), but I don't have (and don't qualify for) a credit>card......>>Oh well.....>Hey Stone, this may have already been answered; but if you have a checking account or open a new one just for online purchases you can get a checkcard (basically a debit card with a visa emblem on it) that will allow you to buy things online like eaglesoft products and such. It takes the money straight from your account and has some of the same protections(depends on the banking institution) that credit cards have.hope this helps
