August 27, 200520 yr Author Ron"We have to thank our real world Cirrus pilot beta testers for the realism you see..they really made us work "LOL I know you LOVED my daily posts pointing out tiny amendments to make this more real Seriously guys I was one of the beta testers on this product ( I own a Cirrus Sr22G2)The eaglesoft team did a GREAT job on this , given the task in hand.A lot of the stuff that was pointed out just wasnt possible under FS limitations , but those that were , these guys worked like dogs to implement ..Lets put it this way..Im using the Eaglesoft SR20 to practice my Cirrus IR stuff FOR REAL , and Im a very happy man...I can take stuff Im learning here to the real plane with no great problems...that to me is what separates a simulation from a toyGreat work eaglesoft...now about those few small details LOLOLcheersBill PadleyLondon
August 27, 200520 yr The eyepoint question has already been answered in this thread..The .net requirement is for the avionics:-)
August 27, 200520 yr >Nice work on the PFD/MFD Fabio and Etienne. :-)Matt, just to correct your misunderstanding, the only thing left of the original is a small bit of code by Ettiene...all of the code by Fabio had to be scrapped. What you now see is 100% Ike Slacks code with due recognition to the great start that Ettiene made:-)

August 28, 200520 yr As with the real Cirrus, CAPS deployment should be at low speed. The Eaglesoft Cirrus will only show odd behaviour if there is either very high wind and turbulence, or if you deploy at speeds greater than around 100-120 knots, or if you are flying at odd attitudes and a lot of up trim. The parachute inevitably makes the nose "buck" initially. But this is just a predictable reaction to the sudden slowing of its mass.Rob Young - co-designer - Eaglesoft Cirrus Robert Young - retired full time developer - see my Nexus Mod Page and my GitHub Mod page

Ron, will you be able to>fix it soon?As in the case of another recent release, the demand has far exceeded expectations... ;)Thanks in advance for your patience and understanding. August 28, 200520 yr Thank you my brutha, I do not have it yet, but from the screenshots major parts of the PFD seem to be completely unmodified from my 'old' version. :-) But everything else looks good too though. :-hah Good job folks, can't wait to check it out.
