Be prepared (no pun intended) to hightail it back to 5.2 Final. I updated to 5.3(can't resist a good update!) and could NOT get it to work! Flickering, not centring and generally being a PITA.

Eventually I went back to 5.2 which works perfectly in FSX and P3D. Oh, and ArmA as well.

Works just fine here on FsxAccDx10.

But if you use it with OpusFSI, you'll have to remember to rename the two simconnect manifests within the TrackIR folder.

I remembered.

Also, just in case anyone forgets, uninstall version 5.2 first before installing the new version.

Can you migrate your profiles and settings to the new version?

Good question Graham - hope someone has an answer ... haven't install 5.3 on my new Win 10 setup yet.

Yes. Your profiles aren't removed when you uninstall TIR. They're still there when you install the new version.

I can't center TrackIR within FSX-SE anymore. Steam does reserve the F12 command for screenshots so I first changed the center command in TrackIR and it worked once or twice but now now at all. I removed the steam screenshot command and reinstalled Track IR 5.30 but no joy. Would love to go back to earlier stable version. does anybody have one? or point me to where I might download it

Just a heads up...your custom profiles now go into:

 

C:\Users\(your folder name)\AppData\Roaming\NaturalPoint\TrackIR 5\Profiles

 

Not the parent folder as it once was. Had me nervous for a bit when my profiles refused to show up. That is all.
