January 30, 201610 yr Thought this was interesting http://iss.astroviewer.net/ Where the International Space Station is located (travelling about 5 miles per second or 7662 meters a second) and the ability to take a snapshot view of the area below in real time. January 31, 201610 yr Thanks Jim. Every time I see these live broadcasts from the ISS I am moved. Never thought that I'd see something like this in my lifetime. The planet does look small. Let's look after it. It is the only one we've got. Just watched 'Interstellar'. Makes you think. Otherwise it was an amazing sight. 10700k / Gigabyte 3060
January 31, 201610 yr Moderator With the Field of View near my house, most of the Sightings I've had last about 4 to 5 minutes, and cover a good amount of sky. Hard to believe they're looking down at us, passing by @ 17k MPH, eating MRE Pork patties with re-constituted Creamed Spinach! However, I'm curious to learn if the canned Russian food is good to eat; from what I hear, it really is tasty! Of course, anything must taste better than good old C Rats! Alan
