February 14, 201610 yr does anyone know any good freeware virtual cockpits available on here to use with the airbus and boeing familes Darrell Hyde. FS2004 Aircraft Repainter.
February 14, 201610 yr Is this any good for you? It's for Thomas Ruth's freeware aircraft: http://library.avsim.net/search.php?SearchTerm=airbus+virtual+cockpit&CatID=fsx&Sort=Name&ScanMode=0&Page=3 Mark Robinson Part-time Ferroequinologist Author of FLIGHT: A near-future short story (ebook available on amazon) I made the baby cry - A2A Simulations L-049 Constellation Sky Simulations MD-11 V2.2 Pilot. The best "lite" MD-11 money can buy (well, it's not freeware!)
February 14, 201610 yr Author perfect thanks now i hope it works in fs9 Darrell Hyde. FS2004 Aircraft Repainter.
February 16, 201610 yr It's a great way to meet new people though, thanks for making them all so welcome to the FS2004 forum - NOT.I do find it annoying that people accidentally end up in here because the AVSIM front page isn't set up properly. I've asked the admin to look at making it easier to identify what forum people are posting in.
February 16, 201610 yr I have removed the off-topic posts. It is not just the FS9 Forum where members accidentally (or on purpose) make posts in the wrong forums. It is one reason why we have Moderators and the 'Report' button. The 'Report' button sends your complaint or issue to an AVSIM Moderator immediately who will take a look at the post or issue and take necessary action deemed appropriate. because the AVSIM front page isn't set up properly I suspect you mean the AVSIM Forum page? What is wrong with it? The forum is set up in the similar manner as all of the other forums so I'm confused. Best regards, Jim Young | AVSIM Online! - Simming's Premier Resource! February 16, 201610 yr Thanks, Jim.. Some of us tend to get lost & confused at times.. Robin "Onward & Upward" ... To the Stars, & Beyond...
February 16, 201610 yr Tapatalk works with AvSim ??? It's been dead for me for a long time... Regards,Scott
February 16, 201610 yr I only come here so I don't know all the ways one can access the forums. But if you go to http://www.avsim.com/index then you see this: Using a PC you can hover the mouse over the topic and see in which forum the post appears. I suspect some may not do this, and end up responding inappropriately to a topic they imagine belongs to their brand of sim. If you go to that page using a mobile device, there is no hover cue, and they end up responding inappropriately to a topic they imagine belongs to their brand of sim. A forum heading with latest posts below would possibly solve the issue.
February 17, 201610 yr Tapatalk works with AvSim ??? It's been dead for me for a long time... Regards, Scott Tapatalk refused to make their app compatible with our forums so Tom (the late owner here at AVSIM) got rid of it. I use Chrome and have no problems visiting AVSIM (and sometimes moderating) with my SmartPhone. Best regards, Jim Young | AVSIM Online! - Simming's Premier Resource! February 17, 201610 yr Jim, I'm not sure that you are fully understanding what WingZ is saying. It's not a matter of visiting AVSIM via mobile device, it's a matter of determining which forum a "recently discussed forum topic" resides in ..... which is evidently the "problem" which started this mess.
