Interesting,  It sounds like it was completely chaotic during those last minutes.

+1   If I had to venture, and just *guess*, what happened, I'd say it was windshear during the 2nd go-around:   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CRUVDZjBAAs   In any case, let's the investigators

I don't think they were ever close to a stall, speed data doesn't indicate anything like that.

One thing is also clear - they were flying this G/A manually.

Yeah, might be entirely possible. Just one question: To what speed data are you referring to? Would you be so kind and link to the source? :)

The thing is we (or at least I) are missing data to make any reasonable conclusion as to what happened.

There is a very technical discussion of the subject, including IAS calculation and other parameters of this flight on pprune.org.

Interesting graphs to look at.

Unfortunately it is like 900 posts .. you have to read it yourself.

The discussion of speeds, stall regime starts at about post #860 and goes on ...

So yes, lots of data is missing but something like speed data can be derived (with some error) from what's available.

Care to share the link? :)

Also we have to bear in mind that airspeed and stall are independent in unsteady flight. The final seconds of the flight were obviously highly unsteady. A 737 might be very well stalled at 200 knots. The key information here is Angle of Attack, aircraft attitude and its flight path vector; all of which information that until they release FDR data won't be available.
