Shared Cokcpit

Can we expect shared cockpit feature for PMDG 737NGX or 777? Most of planes developers have already done this.

Cheers :)

Who knows brotha! Would be nice to see it. Who knows though, pmdg always has stuff up their sleeve.

FAA: ATP-ME, 737 CA, enough time in the 757/767 to be dangerous 🤠

I believe the answer would be no. These two airplanes are almost 5 and 3 years old. I can't see PMDG spending the time to change the code on airplanes this old when they are working to complete the DC-6 and 747 V2.

Not P3D Compatible though. Pity

Would be great if PMDG were to produce a shared cockpit feature for all aircraft as an extra cost add-on module for those who wanted one. I'm sure most would go for it.

Does the P3Dv3 Multiplayer function NOT provide the shared cockpit facilities you want

i habe heard that the p3d multiplayer is extremely simple. That being said, it cant handle all the complexities needed to send over the data between two computers for a simulation like what pmdg offers.

Shared cockpit implies each and every gauges information is shared between platforms. The PMDG cockpit uses gauges that are external to the simulation platform.  The bandwidth required to share these resources has been the constraint.  My reading of the tea leaves reveals they are  moving closer to this, not as the goal, but as a consequence of their distributed computing model mentioned for future products.  Bottom line, the NGX and 777 don't share cockpits and not going too without major changes.
