Strange paramter in "Sky Fog Tuning"?

Whose preset are you using? The strange parameter is a bit of code that desaturates the fog with altitude. I have it in my preset(s).

Adam.

I use my own preset, so it's kinda strange... And I haven't activated the function, so it might have gotten loaded with a preset, but not been deleted when I changed to a different preset?

If I wanted to use, say “CRIMSON”, where do I place it after I have put inside the skycolor folder?

Can anyone help please?

When you put the sets into ASCA (c:\Program Files (x86)\HiFi\ASCA\Data\SkyColor\), you may use it in ASCA sky settings.

Or activate them by Wx Influence Configurator (if you using Full Dynamics or Global Automatic themes in ASCA).

PTA has been working great till today.

Today, upon changing a preset, I realize that PTA is pointing at an unsupported P3D version (1.0.0 build 82), which I don't have and never had. It is pointed to the right folder though.

I can't apply presets now...

I can't seem to change the P3D version target within PTA UI, is it possible at all?

I wonder where did that P3Dv1 came from?

EDIT: Oh, and also now telling me that my shaders aren't original (I haven't changed them since last time I applied a preset successfully.

EDIT2: Found the problem! I've had the Migration Tool enabled, so the P3D-exe was showing version 1.0! Reverted and everything is OK now. Phew!

Thanks a lot Santiago! Very helpful.

I added a note about it in "System requirements".

is there any possibility to turn the moonlight shadows off?

Why do you want to turn off moonlight shadows? You can see them in the real world too.

Current system: ASUS PRIME Z690-P D4, Intel 12900k, 32GB RAM @ 3600mhz, Zotac RTX 3090 Trinity, M2 SSD, Oculus Quest 2.

just asking is it possible or not

Yes.

Set to zero diffuse component of moonlight in "Terrain lighting" like this:

Then set ambient component to the desired level of moonlight. 1.50 for example.

And repeat this for the "Objects lighting" tweak.

The shadows will be almost unnoticeable.
