I guess it's done from the aircraft radius value?

Perhaps have a look at that, Harald, to get the hose a bit closer.

Sorry for the stupid question: I'm unsure, what would the correct parameter be to play with?

I may be wrong but I think WingZ means: Open Afcad 221, go to tools/aircraft editor. Select your model  and you will see a parameter for aircraft radius.

Note this also affects which parking spot your aircraft will fit.

I lowered the value for my Tu-134 from 22 to 15, but this had no effect on the position of the fuel truck.

By the way, which file is in fact edited by changing this parameter from within Afcad 2.21?

Sorry it didn't work, Harald.

Aircraft radius would be in the .air file.

It was just a thought that struck me in the moment; how else would AES know where to place the GSV fleet that you don't manually configure?

Maybe there's a generic template involved.

I assumed it would read out values for wing span and/or tank position from aircraft.cfg so far.

Those are values you should perhaps not mess with, I suspect.

Why not ask Ollie?  :hi:

I did make a Silk Way paint for the IL-76TD

And glad you did!

It sits rather well with its static cousins at Baku.

I wonder - idly - what the Silkway graphic for'ard is meant to convery.

Looks like a graphic artist pulled a fast one on the company directors  :fool:

Lovely shots WingZ!  :Applause:  I'm glad Sascha inspired me to make the paint. I do prefer the D-30 engines.

There is a Silk way Il-76 with D30's in the air right now on Flight Radar...flying from NIS airport.  :dirol:

Awesome screen shots. I saw an IL76 years ago at Boeing Field in Seattle. Though it's clearly a very utilitarian design, it has a certain elegance to it.

A wonderful aircraft that excels in her field. Her main problem in FS is the need for an extra long towbar Oliver!  :t0152:

I have about 1500 scenery areas

Do you launch fs9 sim with 1500 sceneries activated? If so, long time loading a scenery to fly right? Do you get any scenery issues in approach landing like stop and go, etc?
