August 29, 20169 yr Superb! For those scared off by the (for a helo) systems-heavy approach to this model, I made a little clip showing how to start the Icaro version: The Real Thing can be viewed here: so it's pretty close.
August 29, 20169 yr Very nice AW-139 paint Ed. And nice touch removing the cable cutters. Everyone who has painted this helicopter before left the cable cutters on when the real helo didn't have them.
August 29, 20169 yr Author Very nice AW-139 paint Ed. And nice touch removing the cable cutters. Everyone who has painted this helicopter before left the cable cutters on when the real helo didn't have them. Thank you very much. Over the years I have learnt so many "tricks of the trade" The Real Thing can be viewed here: I saw that. I'm itching to write the gauges so they are exactly like the real thing. ...but time is not my friend right now. It was tough enough to finish the paint. My FS Videos
August 29, 20169 yr why these two blade antennae are thus configured: Hm, in the Tu-134 they are obviously connected with the big radar-like, tube-formed device at the right side of the navigator's compartment... Harald Geyer Gründer der Messerschmitt Freunde Dresden v. V.
August 31, 20169 yr As alluded to in the post above at http://www.avsim.com/topic/489341-baku-2017/page-6#entry3474005 there is a great deal of flight activity out to the east of Baku. A lot of it starts at Zabrat, being the home of Silkway Helicopters. Populated by some clones of Ed’s superb AW139 repaint, you stop in at Baku airport ... and head out to sea. You wouldn't really, of course, but I did: what a way to see this fine scenery, low and (fairly) slow. But this is not a screenshot thread, because where we are going, there is nothing in flightsim! Despite this, the oilfields at the Offshore City of Neft Daşları are a fascinating place to read about: the first offshore oilfields in the world, and so much more than a drilling rig. I’ll leave you to browse for yourself: http://basementgeographer.com/oil-rocks-the-offshore-city-of-neft-daslari/
September 1, 20169 yr AES 2.43 is out and Baku has AES support! Btw, great helicopter action, WingZ! Harald Geyer Gründer der Messerschmitt Freunde Dresden v. V.
September 2, 20169 yr Thanks Harald, Baku is a multifaceted experience, it tuns out. And thanks for the HU on AES. I see Exeter is in there now, too. FS9 airports so serviced is... 487! ...can't really complain too much, eh? I haven't worked even halfway through that list.

I’ll leave you to browse for yourself: http://basementgeogr...f-neft-daslari/ Thank you Wingz, that was very interesting. AES 2.43 is out and Baku has AES support! ....soooooo frustrated. I have the best sim in the world IMHO. The only thing that let's it down is dumb AES! Ok so we can have a new truck (that is of no use to me but makes the chances of me getting the right truck even smaller!) but a long towbar is too much? I can live with out the long towbar but getting the wrong truck time after time? Why oh why can't we select which truck to use! My FS Videos

Why oh why can't we select which truck to use! Woe is edetrolit ....... he has suffered so much. I've never seen somebody wracked with such a burden. Kinda makes you realize your problems aren't so hard whenever you see someone like this in misery. Woe .... Woe .... Woe. P.S. Thanks goodness for those of us who don't use this sinister AES thing ..... we have been blessed not to have been burdened with this curse! Towbars ????? Tow truck ?????? We don't need no stink'n tow stuff!
September 2, 20169 yr Author There is always one isn't there. A great thread with lots of interesting posts by interesting people.....and then Gwillmot starts doing what trolls do. I would recommend AES to anyone. My FS Videos

September 2, 20169 yr We don't need no stink'n tow stuff! So let's make FS9 great again! Harald Geyer Gründer der Messerschmitt Freunde Dresden v. V.
September 3, 20169 yr Funny.. I was looking at AES after activating it at Exeter, impressed with the accuracy of the refueler into the A319 underwing tank. I guess it's done from the aircraft radius value? Perhaps have a look at that, Harald, to get the hose a bit closer. Then again, is there clearance under that ole Tupolev?
September 3, 20169 yr It should fit. Otherwise we needed a possibility to choose the fuel truck... Will look into the radius question, thanks for the advice. After using FS9 for ten years, there's something new (at least for me) almost every day. Harald Geyer Gründer der Messerschmitt Freunde Dresden v. V.
September 3, 20169 yr Author You are not alone, Ed. Love the shot Harald. Asymmetrical pax doors are also something that should have been fixed years ago....oh I could go on. My FS Videos
