July 21, 20169 yr There isn't really enough information to make a fair assessment for you, but the CTD Forum may you.http://www.avsim.com/forum/262-crash-to-desktop-ctd-forum/You might want to try deleting your p3d.cfg file and letting it rebuild, or reinstall the P3D Client. Both options have helped me in the past.
July 21, 20169 yr It may also be that some of the older Aerosoft scenery installations is causing the crash. I had this once before and it simply required me to remove an entry from one of the .xml files. I can't remember right now what that was, but I'm sure someone will chime in with the correct info.
July 21, 20169 yr Do you have vistamar.dll activated?? This will cause ctds with no error log. That was it! I think your Aerosoft Rome may be the issue. That was my issue at the time. If the initial solutions don't help, then look for and delete the VMCX_AP.dll file located in: P3D Folder/Vistamare/bin/VMCX_AP.dll
July 21, 20169 yr It's a common issue the migration tool should deactivate it. But sometimes you have to do it manually
July 21, 20169 yr Can't help on your crash but I highly recommend the autosave feature in FSUIPC as you can load back to where you were shortly before the crash. Dale Collins

July 21, 20169 yr Can't help on your crash but I highly recommend the autosave feature in FSUIPC as you can load back to where you were shortly before the crash. How do you set up the autosave feature? Curious. Does it save the game every 5 minutes or so? July 21, 20169 yr How do you set up the autosave feature? Curious. Does it save the game every 5 minutes or so? Open FSUIPC , go to the Autosave tab and select Autosave 'on', and the frequency of the save. Done
July 21, 20169 yr Auto save is very flexible, frequency is set by the user and can be every 60 seconds or less if you wish. You can also tell it how many to keep so as to prevent your saves files overwheming your system. Auto save is only one of MANY brilliant features in FSUIPC Official page & downloads here (there are free and paid for versions available). I use the paid for version. http://www.schiratti.com/dowson.html Support Forum here http://forum.simflight.com/forum/30-fsuipc-support-pete-dowson-modules/ Access to documentation here http://forum.simflight.com/topic/66137-documentation/ And a good Froogle video explaining it here (it also works with P3D) Hope this helps Dale Collins
July 21, 20169 yr That's a very useful feature... I find my P3D randomly crashing sometimes, especially on very long flights, this would be extremely helpful.
