November 16, 200520 yr Well, if you want to fly ultra-realistic, then FSNavigator won't do the job, because of the absence of jetways in the flight plan, NAT tracks and weather integration.I usually plan my flight with FSBuild with ASV weather, export it for MSATC only (if flying offline), print out my dispatch sheet and enter the waypoints manually into the FMC.The moving map is nice, but not a necessity.Just my 2 cents...Pat
November 17, 200520 yr I use FSNavigator and like it. Easy to use. An older program but still good. For newer jet flights like others said, one of the newer planners are better as they have jetways etc. I am currently flying round the world in my C310 and use FSNavigator with the plane off so I can't cheat. have to turn it on sometimes as FS ATC sometimes routes you the wrong way. Radar Contact will fix that. So what are you buying shelley1995? Now I got it. Navigator was the spelled problem. Been bothering me for 2 days now.JimCYWG
November 17, 200520 yr I have also used this program for years and would'nt be without it.I recently purchased the PSS 777 and use FSNavigator to make the flight plans and then export them to FS2004, then import them to the PSS cdu. Works great.Ron Ron Service .
November 17, 200520 yr I've been using FSNav for a long time now... honestly I can't remember being without it. Anyway, for route generation, I find this free website to generate the best plans:http://rfinder.asalink.net/free/I usually take plans from here and just manually plug then into FSNav. I'm usually flying GA or short commercial routes, so the data entry isn't a problem. ------------------------- Craig from KBUF
