August 25, 20169 yr Just use the View groups feature to get 3 connected views . It is free. I have 2 extra undocked views and all 3 are perfectly alligned together. Agree, I am doing the same with 2 undocked side views (hardware is 2 x GTX980Ti, now in SLI). Never been better. Setup was a matter of minutes. I used this to set up: http://www.prepar3d.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=119668 Erhard I9 11900k RTX 3080 TI 3 x 55" LED TV 4K, 2 more PCs for displays and hardware connection Prosim A320
August 25, 20169 yr @Robert Indeed ViewGroups is very simple to setup and it does not take hours, just minutes. Both the FlyElise way as my way are not flawless as you need a zoom of 1.00 or higher to have straight building lines from left to right. I use 0.80 and FlyElise a lower zoom. From a short distance the "distortion" can be seen in your vid too, as also in mine. My way, without using Viewgroups is also very easy to setup. Just try it , so you can compare the FlyElise way with my way. You will be surprised how good it will look.... 5950x3d 5.4-5.7 GHz - Asus ROG 870 Crosshair Apex - GSkill Neo 2x 24 Gb 6000 mhz / cas 26 - MSI RTX 5090 Gaming Trio OC - 1x SSD M2 6000 2TB - 1x SSD M2 2800/1800 1Tb - Corsair 5400 case - Corsair 360 liquid cooling set - 3x 75’ TCL tv. 13600 6 cores @ 5.1 GHz / 8 cores @ 4.0 GHz (hypterthreading on) - Asus ROG Strix Gaming D - GSkill Trident 4x Gb 3200 MHz cas 15 - Asus TUF RTX 4080 16 Gb - 1x SSD M2 2800/1800 2TB - 2x Sata 600 SSD 500 Mb - Corsair D4000 Airflow case - NXT Krajen Z63 AIO liquide cooling - FOV : 200 degrees My flightsim vids : https://www.youtube.com/user/fswidesim/videos?shelf_id=0&sort=dd&view=0

I can only say it was painful when I tried it before, and for me, I'm satisfied with FlyElise. I acknowledge there may be other ways (possibly free) that work as well or maybe even better. I can only share what 'worked for me' and did so faster than I ever imagined. It was literally a cakewalk. Best of all, their support is speedy and concise and no charge. Their software is free for 30 days, so you can fly before you buy Cheers. R. Scott McDonald B738/L Information is anecdotal only-without guarantee & user assumes all risks of use thereof. August 26, 20169 yr I don't think flying in VC is going to work on triple monitors. Maybe Chas or someone else could comment? WHAAAAT! Hmmm! So, how do you see the aircraft panels for PMDG aircrafts? I have another Question, Could we use multiple monitor of different size and resolutions? I currently have 3 Dell 24 X 3 (6000 x 1200) surround. Could I replace my middle monitor with a 34" curved monitor and still use the 2 24" monitor for the sides? Manny Beta tester for SIMStarter

He is flying with Sim-Avionics which is an Avionics package for cockpit builders. It includes all the systems and logic of the 737. He doesn't have or need a VC, he has all the gear. He just wants the out the window view, which is what this software was made for. August 27, 20169 yr Their LCD Designer Pro will calculate the asynchronous frustrums (camera views) requiring nothing more than precise metric dimensions of the display screen area, plus precise measurements of the bezels (upper, lower, left and right). Robert, I see no reference to LCD Designer Pro on the site, yet a Google search for same yields https://fly.elise-ng.net/index.php/news/77-news-immersivedisplaypro10r1 ...go figger! The 2 products needed are LCD Designer Pro and Immersive Display Pro. The LCD product is free, and IDP is $169 USD. Best $ I -ever- spent, took me about 2 seconds to set up my 3 camera views in Prepar3D. I highly recommend it! Their support is great too! You do NOT use NV Surround View when you are using IDP- and it does best in Prepar3D v.3.3.5 or higher. It about drove me nuts trying to figure out the camera definition files manually. If you can run a metric tape measure, you simply measure all the bezels and the vertical and horizontal glass areas of your monitor, and enter the angle offset you want (I set up 60 degrees on each side monitor) and Bob's Your Relative! Finally I bought a digital protractor on A***** (Jungle River) to ensure I had the exact angles I wanted. CAKE! The big takeaway here is FAST FAST FAST camera view config files auto-creation by the Fly Elise software. YES, you could play rocket scientist and create them yourself. However if you'd rather fly than tear your hair out this is a great alternative! R. Scott McDonald B738/L Information is anecdotal only-without guarantee & user assumes all risks of use thereof. September 8, 20169 yr Well Robert, I'm glad it worked for you. I spent two days trying to get this set up and finally gave up. Fast, fast, fast never entered the picture. Beau over at LM gave me a workable solution that was fast, fast, fast. I used 10 degree angles on my three Dell 27 UltraSharps (2560 x 1440) which is almost flat which is what makes this work. I go into windowed mode, stretch that image across the three monitors and Alt + Enter into full screen. With wide aspect checked, all those runway lines and jetways line up. It's remarkable. The only distortion on the outside monitors for me is flying at altitude. On the ground at FSDT and Orbx airports, inside the cockpit, it virtually unnoticeable. Now with your 60 degree setup, this won't work. The closer to flat, the better. Totally works for me and only took 15 minutes. Cheers, Mark
September 9, 20169 yr This is the exact setup Im looking to implement. I want 3 monitors as undistorted as possible and pushing 60 degrees. My question is... Im running a i74990k at 4.7 (over clocked) and a GTX 970. Im getting ready to replace the card and had planned on at GTX 1080 probably the EVGA FTW. Will a single 1080 handle this setup or do I need to spend the extra on a Titan XP? Thanks Bob
September 10, 20169 yr Hi Bob- My way won't work with the angle you're after and I still have some distortion as I mentioned. Depending on how computer adept you are, there's a View Groups tutorial over at LM that you might be interested in that allows you to set up the three no distortion views you're looking for. I'm running a Titan so I don't have any problem at all. Running three views, you're going to take a hit whatever card you're running. Cheers, Mark
