September 13, 20169 yr Not sure if this is a replacement for FSRecorder or not, but it looks like it could be. If anyone has taken the plunge, I'd be keen on opinions. It's over at Simmarket - Flight Control Replay
September 13, 20169 yr Looks good if it works. original version was released 6 years ago. http://forum.simflight.com/topic/82105-flightcontrolreplay-professional-edition-is-available-on-simmarket/
September 13, 20169 yr Author original version was released 6 years ago That's what bothers me. Even though it's been around for 6 years, I've never heard of it - so clearly no-one has ever made much of a fuss about it. #cantbethatgood But I hope it is.
September 13, 20169 yr Fsrecorder 1.31 works in P3D, I currently use it. MSI Codex 5 10SC-262UK Desktop PC - Intel Core i7-10700, RTX 2060 Graphics, 16GB RAM, 2TB HDD, 256GB SSD.

September 13, 20169 yr Moderator No mention of whether it's compatible with ConcordeX by FS Labs. It needs to record reheat and nose / visor. Suspect it can't record those unfortunately. I've sent the chap an email asking those questions. I'll post his reply. Ray (Cheshire, England). September 13, 20169 yr Author Fsrecorder 1.31 works in P3D, I currently use it. It doesn't work well though. There are some parameteres on PMDG aircraft which are not captured well. Constantly spinning wheels is an example.
September 13, 20169 yr I have forsaken the notion of FSrecorder, generic or specific, by Shadowplay recording what I feel will be important, at least to me, events in the sky. Can somebody explain to me why I would use FS recorder when ultimately, I intend to "Shadowplay" the flight, with or without it? "Shadowplay" is in quotes because I also own DXstory and Fraps; both of which provided me with unacceptable frame rate loss, on my previously mediocre I-7 2600K/GTX 770 flying machine. FSRecorder type functionality records track data (flight data) which is good for flying inside the aircraft and performing a procedure (take-off/landing) and then viewing that from an external viewpoint with FSRecorder playback. As far as I'm aware Shadowplay is a video recorder so it's recording what is on screen at any given time. You therfore cannot fly an approach from the VC and play it back from an external viewpoint. A good recorder also need a higher sample rate of flight/parameter data so the playback is smoother and more natural looking - as opposed to the jerky mess that the built in P3D recorder functionality has.
September 13, 20169 yr It doesn't work well though. Also, it would pop up a warning message everytime I started P3D. Is there a way to turn that warning off?
September 13, 20169 yr Moderator I emailed Fabio and he will email Lefteris regarding ConcordeX. He'll need access to the SDK. Hopefully a solution can be reached. Nothing more exciting than watching Concorde take-off! Ray (Cheshire, England). Thanks, both of you have concurrent installations of FSX with P3D v3? Cheers, Ed Seems to me that if you don't have FSX installed in your machine, FS Recorder will not work in P3D. Any comments?. September 13, 20169 yr It doesn't work well though. There are some parameteres on PMDG aircraft which are not captured well. Constantly spinning wheels is an example. Warning will appear everytime, just click OK.... I'm using it on Win10 64bit - I fly PMDG 777 ????what parameters? Flaps ,gear, smoke, reversers and spoilers....all I need in a replay In the settings you can change what parameters you want FSRecorder to "record"....Never seen constantly spinning wheels....very odd. May take another look at my replays. Im using P3D 2.5 and have FSX installed concurrently. MSI Codex 5 10SC-262UK Desktop PC - Intel Core i7-10700, RTX 2060 Graphics, 16GB RAM, 2TB HDD, 256GB SSD.
September 13, 20169 yr I think LM have to work in a diferent recorder or a different replay system. I don't like the sound of engines when you are seeing a replay video. Regards,
