Focus is main simulator window Fabio, no problem.

As I told you by PM I am quite used to computers and FS softwares so you can rely on my expertise to find why shortcuts don't work on my PC.

 

Assignments are well saved but not effective.

 

I tested the software this weekend.  Seems that when I selected the U button to record, the recording stopped after about 10 seconds.

is the flightonfly address the best place to contact for support,or do you prefer on the forums?? i sent a bug issue there concerning 169.23 not working with playback on my setup, but 167.22 does function correctly.

I'm really fallowing this topic . I hope this new recorder could at lease record a video with all gauges working.My problem with fs recorder was if my aircraft was park at the gate and i would playback my recorded flight , i would see the wheels chock and the engine off in mid air.

 

Haven't used FSRecorder for quite some time but I remember an easy way around this problem was to save a panel state especially made for FSRecorder.

 

I never managed to record 100% correctly going from a cold & dark state in the NGX to a ready for taxi state. So what I did was to never start recording until I was ready for taxi with all systems and engines up and running and then when playing back the recorded data I first loaded the corresponding panel state which would assure the aircraft was in the same state with everything up and running (ready for taxi)...and also made sure I had enough fuel during the replay...:wink:

 

Quite fun to play around with this so maybe I'll give it a go again and the way I understood it FSRecorder does work fine in P3Dv3 only that it will give you some error? message during P3D startup that you can simply clear. Is that correct?

 

Will check out this new tool as well but in my case I really need to also be able to record online traffic on Vatsim where the recorder must be able to pick the correct AI models from my MT6 models. This worked amazingly good in FSRecorder and I remember how impressed I was first time trying this feature out!

Thanks for the tip. We do need a recorder than can record the engine sound correctly also. I hope Fabio can add those features we enjoyed in fs recorder for prepar3d.

Hi, all.

Just for let you know that current P3D v3.4.9 version comes with a FS Recorder that works exceptionally well. It's located under the menu "Analysis" inside P3D. What is also very good, it's that you can do the work inside P3D and you don't need any extra connection from outside.
