FSRecorder replacement?

Featured Replies

I bought Flight Control Replay today and tried it out with the PMDG 777.  It's cool, easy to use,  playback is smooth which is nice.  But, it doesn't record events like Gear Up, Flaps Up, LNAV On, etc.  Some of this is standard controls so it should be easy to do.  I also don't see the control surfaces moving.

Hi JLuis,

Aerosoft A320 A319 A318 works well with recording position , heading, bank, pitch. But there is problem playing ailerons and elevator. Record well but it play with a no smooth movement.

I Found a solution (workaround) . Set on the second MCDU of Aerosoft (Options->FlyByWire->OFF) when you want play a situation recorded. All it work well with this operation ;-)

Thank you

Fabio

Fabio, is there any solution for the PMDG 777 and 737.

Fabio and I exchanged emails and I tried out turning off the fly by wire in the 777.  It does work better that way, gear and flaps do respond but they're very slow compared to live flight.  Other than that it seem very well.  I also tested the A320 fly by wire trick and that seemed to work fine.  More experiments to do.

Do the spoilers also work on the Aerosoft Airbus with the fly-by-wire trick?

  • Commercial Member

Hi guys!

If you want see surface movement in Aerosoft Airbus X you have two choices. One it is turn off ELAC2 from overhead panel before play situation. Second it is turn off flybywire from copilot MCDU before play situation.

Thanks for your reply. Please excuse me insisting. Are the spoilers on the Aerosoft Airbus A318-A321 also recorded and played back (with the above tricks)? Will I see the spoilers extend on touchdown?

Hi Ralf!

FCR record Spoilers extension at the touchdown also withouts trick putting off FlyByWire from secondary MCDU ;-)

There's an update, I think.  I'll download it and try it.  What airplane are you thinking about using it with?

Hi Gregg

PMDG 737 and 777.

PMDG 737 and 777.

I'll try the 777.  I don't have the 737 and I suspect it would be better than the 777.
