What's your favorite P3D addon airport?

Taxi2Gate KSEA might just be the best scenery I own. So detailed and I still remain at about 24 FPS. Makes me wonder why other airports are such a hit on the framerate...

I've heard that but I look at the KSEA I have that I guess came with PNW and it looks very good.  Is it that much better?

I can't comment on the PNW version because I don't own it but what I can tell you is that Taxi2Gate's KSEA is one amazing airport. Right up there with Flightbeam, FlyTampa etc. and better performance as well (my experience). I own most of FB's and FT's airports and many other high quality airports as well. When I first looked at KSEA in the sim it instantly jumped from 'another decent airport' to potentially number one.

Interesting... to me it looks like just another airport. Is the surrounding area big and modelled too? Or is it mainly the airport itself that is this good?

I know part of the surrounding area is modelled as well like Copenhagen City and also you get the Oresunds bridge which is a very long and well known landmark running between Sweden and Denmark. You also get Pepparholm and Saltholm, two man made islands that you'll get to see landing on 22L and taking off from 04R.

As said, very hard to describe why I like this airport so much and I don't think the sensation I get shows in screenshots. Maybe if you could find a good YouTube video but the best thing of course is to experience it yourself.

As said in last post, for anyone who likes to fly in Europe I would consider this airport a must have.

But you also have to mention FlyTampas Vienna (I like this airport very much) and Athens. Both are very detailed and look very great.

But I promise you, EDDN (Nürnberg) from 29Palms will be a masterpiece. This is my home airport and looking so much forward to this one.

T2G LTBA - the surrounding varying elevation and autogen make it an interesting site to look at. Good on fps as well.

T2G terminals have the best appearance (OTHH buildings look great), FT does better overall with nice tone and ground (their YSSY does it best). Bridge ZGGG has some fine looking terminals too.

But considering the standards they achieve in graphics and accuracy, I find their afcads (tweaking aside) even on the better ones generally leave something to be desired.

The KSEA that comes with PNW is basically just an updated AFCAD. It's not like an ORBX aftermarket airport, so yes, the T2G version is much better speaking from experience and it performs very well.

I'm scared of getting CYYZ.  The stories I see about performance and VAS in that area....

It's true, CYYZ is a bit tough. But when you drive your Air Canada A320 through the de-icing area, it will blow your mind!
