January 20, 20179 yr Same question for P3D ... but from GTX 780 to 1070 ?? Is it just a matter of sliders bit more to the right? Not expecting more fps but more detail on the ground does have its appeal. Also looking hard at X-Plane ... Can't do any harm but the experience of any who've done something similar is a big help. January 20, 20179 yr It depends on what resolution you want to run things at. I have a GTX670, which is a nice card and all, but I would not be able to run a 4K curved widescreen, as the max. resolution the card supports is 2560x1440 or so. I also run the i7-2700K, but I have it ticking over at 4.8GHz... A Andrew Entwistle
