Lonny,It's a very nice panel and I do hope that you create a JCA version as well. If not, that's fine too - I'll just spend more time with the SGA version.DJ

"A 2D FS2000 looking panel next to all those wonderful jets on your websit looks interesting to say the least..."What is it with the over-perfectionism of people these days???? :-hmmm :-rollDillon, quite honestly, I have to TOTALLY disagree with you. Lonny's MD-80 panels' 2D panel BMPs look very realistic with regards to perspective and graphics, in fact I find them to be very pretty and crisp. If you can make a better one, then go ahead and do so!!!! :-hahCheers,

Thanks for the kind words:-) You are correct, we have confidence that this offering will meet the needs of discriminating MD80 pilots who like to have a variety of choices at their disposal. Those who own it will quickly see that it is far from so-so:-)

Sorry dudes, double post....:-hahCheers,

Thanks for the kind words!Have FunLonny

Hi Lonny,Congrats, and great to have met you recently. Forget the jets you fly for real, you own a Piper Arrow, so that's near and dear to me!That's a very impressive panel, nice graphics, and you should know it well, as unlike Dillon, you have spent time flying the real thing.BTW, Dillon is a beta tester for us, but his sense of humor and way of saying things sometimes is not understood. You have to take the opposite of what he says. Trust me, that drives us crazy on the beta tests! He's a good guy though.Hmmm... $19.95 for the panel. Based on prices here in NJ, that's 4.2 gallons of gas in your Arrow, or about .38 hours fuel consumption. No doubt you get more in Arkansas! Yeah, we're paying $4.75 a gallon for 100LL here. :-(Merry Christmas to you and your family, Lonny, call me sometime! :-)Regards,http://www.dreamfleet2000.com/gfx/images/F...R_FORUM_LOU.jpg

Hey Lou, it was good to finally meet you recently as well. We'll have to have dinner again sometime:-)

I think it's time that addon developers started talking to each other. I mean, we now have 4 different versions of the MD 80 around:1)Lago's Maddog2)MX's MD 803) Flight 1's MD 804) And, now Eaglesoft's offering. I fail to see the reason and rhyme behind offering yet another version. Also, I sure hope the Eaglesoft panel's glass cockpit version has a working FMC to go with that. Otherwise, it seems kind of pointless. ricardo

How the heck did we all manage to meet, Ron?That reminds me of what Michael Verlin said to me when I met him down at AOPA Expo last month."It seems like all you developers were out of the office at once one week".I told him, "Yeah, we were having a group therapy session to deal with reading the FS forums 365 days a year!" :-lolMerry Christmas,http://www.dreamfleet2000.com/gfx/images/F...R_FORUM_LOU.jpg

Wee.

Oh, my even Lou has gotten envolved in this... :-outtaI made this comment because Eaglesoft usually creates whole packages (external, VC, sounds, etc). Come on guys you know me, read my signature below... :-) Lonny I was just surprise to see only a 2D panel released and to me it looked very much like Lago's offering. I've always known you to do great work so that in my book is worth continued support within itself... Considering the time you say it took to create this panel only tells me how great it must be. I hope you sell many copies... I didn't know you were once an MD80 pilot, what airline did you fly for and when (if you don't mind me asking)??? It's great when pilots of the real thing show us a glimpse of something well never see. Guys like you and Eric Ernst are great assets to our community so forgive me if I sounded rude. Lou, me, and many others may never captain a real heavy in our lifetime but through the hard work you guys have given to FS we have the next best thing.Lonny, Eaglesoft sorry about this but next time give us the whole package (I know you guys would do a wonderful job) and thanks again for the continued hard work... :-hah"Lou may have more hours than me but I've eaten more Snicker Bars than him..." See ---> :-badteeth

"Yeah, we were having a group therapy session to deal with reading the FS forums 365 days a year!" Ain't it the truth:-lol :-lol It was good to get out of the office for a bit though.

Ricardo, have you considered what you are saying? A real world MD80 pilot spends a year programming 5 different panels as accurately as he can and you say "it seems kind of pointless"?There are many who will disagree with you on this point my friend:-)

No problem Dillon:-)
