I've tried a site search but can't find an answer. Is there any way since the recent update to view the first unread post within the topic being viewed as we used to be able to?

I would like to keep all the topics about the new upgrade in the "Help Using the AVSIM Forums" topic so I moved your topic from Hangar Chat.

You can do what you want by clicking on Content and selecting Topics and, of course, First unread, Latest first.

There is no way to do this within each topic.

Thanks, but it seems such a cumbersome way of doing it. Because Avsim is so popular you have to scroll through a long list of new posts to find the ones you want.

If you click the blue circle left of the topic name, it will go to the first unread post in that topic.

It's been that same way for several years now!

I'm looking for something similar, in addition to a list of the most recent posts forum-wide, a list of recent topics I've participated in....basically the two boxes at the top of the old forum.  Was really convenient.

 

(I know there is the unread content link but was just convenient to have all of that in one place at the top of the main forum page.)

I Would like to see that Two boxes again... very useful. 

I am still working on using the new forum properly. The filters under "unread content" look very useful. However, after I picked a number of forum section that I would like to follow and applied the "content I follow" filter, nothing changed. For instance, I can still see new posts in the Alabeo forum even though I don't follow it.

Are the filters already working?

After applying the filter, click on F5 to refresh the page.  Works for me.
