April 11, 20179 yr Hi all I wanted to setup my Yoke and Rudder with FSUIPC in P3D. All worked well so FSUIPC recognizes the control inputs and I set it up as expected. But as soon as I enter the sim again, nothing happens. No input device triggers a movement of the controls in the plane. The sim is unpaused and everything installed as usual. What do i need to setup differently so the control inputs from my hardware are being used?
April 11, 20179 yr I cannot help you with FSUIPC but P3D has a much improved DirectX interface than FSX and recognizes most controllers and all their buttons. I prefer having all my controllers axis and buttons assigned in P3D and never had unexpected problems. Dan Downs KCRP
April 11, 20179 yr Author Thanks but the strange thing is, that it worked in the past, and since I installed P3D freshly, I get these issues. The controls are recognized everywhere, but the plane controls dont react when I move the hardware. aaaargh....

I would check out the FSUIPC4 config file to see what controls are listed and calibrated, you could either reinstall FSUipc4 or rename the config file and let it build a new one. bob
April 11, 20179 yr have you changed usb ports recently? If so try this 1. Download JoyIDsInstall.exe from this site. http://airgroup51.net/forum/index.php?topic=2435.0 2. Install the program then run it. You should see your connected joystick(s). Double click on the problem one (should highlight green) and click on a different Id# to move it there. This will fix the entry in the Registry. You can move it back again if you wish. It won't affect anything else.
