The app on the other hand, can communicate with the flight sim even if the app is 32 bit. Make sure that you follow the TrackIR instructions for FSX and P3d and install the correct legacy SimConnect version. This 32 bit DLL is for the TrackIR app, not P3d itself. Rather than repeating this over and over again, please use the AVSim search function.

June 1, 20179 yr Moderator Why would I have uninstalled it Jay? Actually I have 3 or 4 versions installed. Vic RIG#1 - I9 14900K MSI Pro z790 RTX 5070Ti 40" 4K Monitor 3840x2160
June 2, 20179 yr after making sure all required simconnect things are installed, run TrackerIR as ADMIN, things will work (hopefully). if it works (it worked for me), credit goes to this person; http://www.prepar3d.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6315&t=113942&sid=eef792d1ed061fb9b68a8049659140d6&start=15#p125445 Ali A. The person posting the original question had a dual boot setup and probably just forgot to install the needed SimConnect files for the new OS installation.
June 2, 20179 yr Moderator Ah - ok - got it now. Vic RIG#1 - I9 14900K MSI Pro z790 RTX 5070Ti 40" 4K Monitor 3840x2160
June 2, 20179 yr Quick follow up - I resolved my issue with TrackIR and P3Dv4. I have EZDok camera installed for FSX:SE (NOT P3D). It turns out that EZDok renames the simconnect manifest files in the TrackIR application folder, which prevents detection of the running P3D exe. A repair install of the TrackIR software enables use of TrackIR in P3Dv4. Thanks to mac44 and bill62 who's comments got me looking in the right direction! Hope this helps someone else! August 11, 20178 yr I did a clean install of P3Dv4 - my first P3D product, and then did a clean install of TIR - note that I just wiped and upgraded my system completely and installed W10. TIR did not work - but this fixed it - understand it may not work for everyone: Run the SIMCONNECT installer found here: P3D folder/redist/interface/fsx-sp2-xpack/under/retail/lib Thats it.
