I don't understand AVSIM these days.

 

People were whining for YEARS about OOMs. LM brings v4 in 64bit. What happens? People are whining that "v3 and v4 look the same".

People were whining that PTA was not available for v4. Someone took money and effort to make it available for v4. What happens? People ###### about that it's no longer free.

 

Someone above said "People are so cheap". Yeah, that's spot on! 17 Pounds... for a great tool. People buy computers for thousands of Euros / Dollars /etc. and then complain about 17 Pounds for a nice tool. These people should shut the .... up and should not buy it then. Simple.

A long term Chillblast user with you settings so kindly provided for free has given me untold hours of fun

As I move to P3Dv4 it is comforting to have you as wingman again

So many of us don't have the time or the ability to get the best out of our sims-you get us there in a feasible manner

To everyone else that is supporting this, also thank you. 

The sad reality is, the vocal minority will eventually ruin it for the majority - this was a huge risk for me, I've never invested this sort of money in my life. Should other opportunities come around of a similar setup (someone wants to sell tools/utilities/addon source code to me, for me to keep updated), I wont be so quick to say yes. I cannot believe how bitter/nasty/hateful people can be - it's even gotten to a point now in which I'm receiving death threats.

It really does make me think what the future holds for this community & flight sim as a whole - I just simply do not understand where the utter resentment comes from.

Matt the trick is not to use social media. Never, ever. 

Or if you do, don't pay attention to what people are saying. The anonimity of it all makes them say things they would never dare to say to your face.

So just learn to completely ignore it. Not simply not care. Ignore! Don't read it.
