Flight 1 certainly have not been catering to casual simmers over the years so I have no idea where you got that idea from. In fact, the biggest chunk of their business is flight1 tech which caters to the commercial / pro market. As for ultimate traffic 2 and live, we all know that it was the developer "flag mountain software" which deserted the product, not F1. F1 were left holding the bag and offering the support. Ut live is an early access revamped version of the same product but with some new features and finally, P3D compatibility. It's been provided only for forum registered users to get in early at a discount and provide feedback before general use. To be quite honest, I don't think F1 care if it is out before any other traffic addon and seeing as its early access, they certainly aren't looking to shift boxes with "pretty pictures" on it. Seriously, if you think f1 is a poor developer or distributor then the world of flight simming really is going down the pan. In fact, your post resembles the attitude I would expect from the "teenage fans" you were quick to criticize. why dont you ask Steve H then to come over and answer the 30 or so unanswered posts on the UT forum then. Ill agree the 30 day guarantee is a nice thought. But the support for ut2 was and is terrible and then they signed up to work again with flag mountain software for UT2 live which all it is a imported copy of the oag schedule data (https://www.oag.com/schedules/dynamic-schedules) with a few bits added on, the diverts for bad weather and a/c showing up going across the pond.
June 29, 20178 yr What is this Powerpack module? What does it do? Feature? Functionality? BTW. I have the P3Dv3 F1 UT Live directed to V4 and its working fine. So I am going to wait. I have traffic (full) without any/toomuch FPS hit. Am I missing anything by not installing the v4 version of UTLive other than the latest schedule?? Manny Beta tester for SIMStarter
June 29, 20178 yr All I can say for those who love to whine and complain about things that are completely unnecessary, enjoy flying without AI or stick with MT6. Meanwhile, UTLive is humming along in my sim, both versions, as we speak.
