After trial and error attempting every possible combination I could think of, finally got it to work. I think the linchpin and most important for anyone who is having trouble is disabling IPv6 on your Nic. The final successful combo for me for those still having trouble is:

Enable Make this PC discoverable

Disable Windows 10 Firewall

Disable SSL 3.0

Disable IPv6 under Ethernet Properties

Port Forward 8888 on your router

Thanks everyone for your suggestions!

Adam... that is amazing.  I am very happy to read that you found the key to unlocking the problem.  This is interesting because IPv6 should work in most cases, I just ran the IPv6 test on myself and had no errors.  Perhaps your ISP has not updated to IPv6 yet?

FYI I disabled IPv6 and the OC now works....  thank you Adam.

My connectivity knowledge is zero...  what does disabling IPv6 mean to normal pc usage ?

Thanks again,

Mark Lindley

IPv4 uses addresses like 255.255.255.255

IPv6 uses addresses like 2001:db8:85a3:8d3:1319:8a2e:370:7348

IPv6 was developed because we ran out of IPv4 addresses.

Hi everyone

Ok  .. well I have an interesting one on this

Brand new computer system with just Win 10 and P3D v4 on it

I have downloaded the PMDG NGX and it installed fine into the simulator ... BUT .. just like others the Operations Center wasn't there ...

I looked in the usual location Program files (x86) and I did find the folder 'Operations Center' ....

After opening it everything looked fine so I sent the application icon to the desktop for ease of use

I then double clicked on it and it opened correctly ..... I went on to install some liveries and everything looked good with the green bar next to the aircraft saying 'installed'

I then opened P3D v4 and selected the PMDG 737 and guess what!!  .... Only the house liveries are there

I went back into the Operations Center just to check the livery installations and it said they were installed but alas they aren't

This is very odd ..... any ideas would be well appreciated

Regards

Are you running the operations centre as admin (right click > run as admin)? Same with sim? I think the naming of the liveries for the NGX has also changed - instead of being PMDG Boeing ...., it's just Boeing .... in the sim, so look further up the list.

Hi Chris

Thank you for coming back to me  .... yes I am running as admin ..

I have just noticed there is another post about this issue and people saying it is now fixed  .....

I downloaded the 737 NGX from the PMDG website only about 30 minutes ago so not quite sure why my download didn't include the fix

Cheers

The fix would definitely be included if you only downloaded it 30 mins ago. Definitely look in the sim again, it's probably installed near the top of the list under Boeing 737..... instead of PMDG Boeing 737... like the house liveries.

Hi Chris

BINGO ... yes you are correct ... they are listed right near the top and not with the House Liveries  ..... a huge thank you  ..

I am not sure why the Ops Center hasn't shown up in the program listings or didn't make a desktop short cut on it's own .... but hey ho ... it's working

Cheers
