March 14, 200620 yr Hey everyone,I've been away for a few weeks, and I was wondering if Airport Environment Upgrade 8 ever showed up back in February. I saw some previews for it, but haven't been able to find any of the latest news on its status.I've been dying for this one, so any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks,GG Avid flightsimmer with a solo pilot endorsement, halfway toward my Private Pilot in the Diamond DA20 C-1 Eclipse.

March 15, 200620 yr Good evening everyone, I originally inquired about Chris. It's been so busy for me and I don't save my sent E-mails, but I think I did E-mail him and have not heard back. This just does not make any sense to me that he had a product ready to roll with a big post and pics, then complete silence. I am sure if he saw any of our posts, he would let us know he's ok. I don't even know him and feel so frustrated not knowing about his well being. All we can do is hope for the best.
March 15, 200620 yr Well, I hope he is ok...maybe just a computer crash, but then again, its been some time now.Chris you out there? Hope all is good!Bill Asus Tuf Gaming Plus B550 - Ryzen 7 5800X3D - Asus GeForce 4080 RTX OC Edition - 64GB DDR4 (3600Mhz) - EVGA 850W Power Supply - 2X 1 TB NVME PCIE gen 4 - Windows 11 (25H2)
March 15, 200620 yr Well, I'm hoping Chris is okay, and not just because I want him to release this addon. I seem to remember someone saying that he's a pilot, so I wonder if perhaps his job has temporarily taken him away from the hobby.Either way, hopefully he's doing fine and just a little busy.GG Avid flightsimmer with a solo pilot endorsement, halfway toward my Private Pilot in the Diamond DA20 C-1 Eclipse.
March 16, 200620 yr Great news guys and gals,I just recieved an email from Chris Arrington. He is fine! He has been very busy. He says he is touched by the fact that people were concerned for his welfare. See below for more:Email from Chris Arrington:Hi Buice, Thanks for writing, I'm doing just fine. This is the second such e-mail I've received, and I must say that I am deeply touched by the fact that there is such a following for AEU. I've never remotely imagined that anyone would be concerned about my welfare, but it is even more of a reason to believe that FS really is a GREAT community of which I am luck to be a part. Currently, AEU is on hold for a short time until I am able to finish the remaining terminal textures. As you may, or may not know, I am a First Officer for Grand Canyon Airlines, as well as a Technical Writer for Honeywell Aerospace Electronic Display Systems. Both jobs are full time, not to mention my family and making sure that I devote lots of love and attention to them as often as I can. Rest assured, AEU will be posted very soon and I am very much looking forward to sharing it with everyone.
March 16, 200620 yr Hi Bruce, THANK YOU so much for sharing this with us!! I am very happy to hear all is well for Chris. This made my night. Thanks again for posting this.
March 16, 200620 yr Thats a big relief! Not because of AEU8 but because he is okay.RegardsAlexwww.fs2crew.comhttp://www.fs2crew.com/betateam.jpg
March 16, 200620 yr Great news that Chris is OK! AEU8 will be great when it's out. Unimportant though compared to Chris' welfare.
March 16, 200620 yr Wow I'm glad to hear that everything is okay with him. He's an important part of the community (as is everyone, really), and it's a relief to hear that all is well in his personal life.I was actually beginning to worry that something was wrong...funny how these online communities work. They seem so impersonal sometimes, but somehow maybe they're really more personal than you think. That's my philosophical 4 seconds of the day."Talk amongst ya'selves."GG Avid flightsimmer with a solo pilot endorsement, halfway toward my Private Pilot in the Diamond DA20 C-1 Eclipse.
March 17, 200620 yr Ok, one last post.............I emailed Chris back and told him I had shared his email with you guys and how relieved we all are that he and his family are ok. Here is his reply:"Thanks Earl! Thanks for keeping everyone informed, I really appreciate that. I haven't even looked at the forum in about a month now. I'll see if I can't get back around to AEU 8 here real soon. Please pass on my apologies and extended thanks to everyone. Regards to all,Chris"
