A2A C172 configuration for the GTN 650/750. Also includes the GNS 430/530. This setup allows the use of the C172 Aircraft Configurator app.
https://www.dropbox.com/s/6w13lx8ams1e7fh/A2A_C172_RXP_GTN_GNS.zip?dl=0

The following instructions are included in the ZIP file.

First things first. BACKUP the following files in the A2A 172 panel folder.
panel_default.cfg
panel_F1_650.cfg
panel_F1_750.cfg
panel_F1_dual.cfg
panel_MINDSTAR_430.cfg
panel_MINDSTAR_530.cfg
panel_MINDSTAR_dual.cfg

Important:
Regarding the panel_default.cfg file (if you DO NOT own the RXP GNS430 do not copy this file). This file provided in the package will install the RXP GPS400 and replace the default A2A GPS400. Otherwise if you own the GNS430 copy it to the panel folder.
The RXP GPS400 is included with the GNS430.

If you don't own all the RXP gauges, still install all .cfg files, this way if you decide to purchase additional RXP gauges the above files will be in place and ready to go.

Copy (Extract) the contents of this package to the \A2A\SimObjects\Airplanes\ folder.

You should now have the above .cfg files in the A2A172 panel folder, and 2 files; RealityXP.GNS.ini and RealityXP.GTN.ini in the main \A2A_C172 folder. These last 2 files are necessary for the popup gauges to work properly.

You may now use the C172 Aircraft Configurator app to install the gauge(s) of your choice.

For the RXP GTN 650/750 select the F1 650, 750, or both.
For the RXP GNS 430/530 select the MS 430, 530, or both.
As noted above if you own the GNS430 you can select default to install the GPS400.

Modifications for FSX for use of a side-by-side pair of Reality XP GTN 750s in the Real Air Turbine Duke v2.

This is a three or four step process to accomplish all that is needed.  The first step is to edit in what is necessary in the panel.cfg file for the TDv2 (Turbine Duke v2).  You will need a [Window##] section for each of the two RXP 750s.  You will also need to edit the two gauges into the [VCockpit01] section of panel.cfg.  If you used F1 GTN gauges previously, then eliminate those and use these instead.

In my panel.cfg file (below) please note that you may wish to use different [window##] sections than I did, and you may need to learn how to edit the popup locations.  When I have two GPS gauges of any kind in a panel I always map them to the same key combinations and the same screen positions.  So what I have done may or may not meet your tastes.

Edits to the RealityXP.GTN.ini file in the model's main folder are needed to provide for the NO_BEZEL  installations you will take note of in the panel.cfg file.  These allow the Reality XP GTN display screens to show in the bezels that Real Air provided for F1 GTN gauges.  The edits I provide below also provide right mouse click actions to control pop ups. Right click on each to pop them up, and again to close them.

Finally, to gain full control of the tuning knobs and the two keys on the bezels (the Home key and the D-> key) you must create a subfolder to the Turbine Dukle's panel folder.  That subfolder should be named rxpGTN.  Then you must create a small .xml file named f1vc.xml and place it in that folder.  My panel.cfg edits point to that folder and file as an additional gauge.  See gauge19 in the Vcockpit01 section.

For the RealityXP.GTN.ini file
Add the following sections to the end of the file
(note that if you do your own hand edits, the separate ident= values in the panel.cfg file for each gauge must match the popright= values in the RealityXP.GTN.ini file).

[GTN_750_1.POP_NO_BEZEL]
nobezel = true
popright = 15531
brightness.screen = -38

[GTN_750_1.UNPOP_RXP]

[GTN_750_2.POP_NO_BEZEL2]
nobezel = true
popright = 14531

[GTN_750_2.UNPOP_RXP2]

the f1vc.xml file:

This file is referenced earlier in this      Official Panel Configuration Mods topic.
It appears the link has been requested past it's
limit.  You can try cutting and pasting the
contents below into an editor, then saving it
with the filename "f1vc.xml".  I recommend
using Windows Wordpad instead of Notepad as
I believe Wordpad will retain the formatting
or nesting in the file.

Copy just the text, starting
below my line break. The line you can see
containing the values 0 0 8 0 should be on line 17
of the file you create.

Create a subfolder named "rxpGTN" to the panel folder and place
the file in that folder.

Oh! An important addition to my TDv2 post above.  For the f1vc.xml gauge to work to provide you with working GTN keys and tuning knobs, you may also need to go into the GTN settings panel (shift + right-click on the GTN top border), scroll down to advanced options, and select the setting to "Use Simulator GPS Commands".

And always remember, the options selected in that settings panel are unique to each aircraft model as well as unique to each instance of the GTN gauge.  So if you are using both GTN 750s, 750_1 and 750_2, you need to make that selection in each.  Settings in that panel need to be made for each aircraft model you use as well.
