It is possible to integrate Aerosoft Scenery Manhattan and NY Megascenery, and they work well together. There is information about how to do this on the Aerosoft web site. I have used this configuration along with Chez's LGA scenery. The NY Megascenery looks much better than the default, for the area that it covers. I found it to be very good at or above 1,500 feet, for VFR helicopter flying. one strange result of the combination is that when you are flying over Central Park in "hard winter" the NY Megascenery textures have all of NYC as snow covered, but Central Park in Manhattan, and the parks adjacent to the roadways along the Manhattan coastlines are still "green" as in Spring and Summer, since Scenery Manhattan doesn't have a seasonal textures that change for Winter.

I have BEV summer but I never deactivated the New York aerial photo (default scenery). Will try that. Never got the rest of the seasons. Have conidered GE and Ultimate terrain instead, hard to choose where to spend my money.

Have you guys tried deleting the fuel depot bgl's? Like I said, it seemed to be a big boost for me. Well I just went ahead and bought it. It seems my fears of performance problems was unfounded.Getting a solid and smooth 18 to 20 fps on final approach in the Level D 767 virtual cockpit. Did several touch and goes and fly bys lowest fps was a 14fps spike when taxiing around. Noticed some flickering textures especially the yellow lines on the taxiways but not that bad. I have that problem at several airports especially Fly Tampa San Francisco does anyone know how to fix this? Overall, I think it looks very good but then again I am not a New Yorker and have not seen the real KEWR. The Level D 767 for me gets great FPS anywhere. Usually better than default aircraft. The airplane is smooth. I am doing alot of flying with the 747 since it's new and frames are not as good but good enough. I did line out the fuel depot and got a minmal boost. Using the above metioned airplanes the scenery is acceptable.
