ATC-Chatter available from Stick and Rudder Studios

Since this is already here, I'm not sure if it's a bug or just something I'm missing. Lately when I PTT I will have chatter coming over me when I talk which is distracting, and also the same when the controller responds to me. I didn't notice this before the last two updates. It doesn't happen often but it does happen and I can't figure out why. It never used to be like that, if I remember correctly.

Wondering if I am being stupid, but I can't seem to find any way of controlling the volume of the X-ATC chatter files when "Play Chatter" is selected. They are playing at very low volume such that they are barely audible!

Any ideas?

Thanks

Fabulous! Now why didn't I think of that! Told you I was being stupid!

Thanks for your speedy response.

ps.  I'm just loving P2ATC. Totally enhances the flight sim experience. An amazing piece of work. Hoping that X-Plane World Traffic can be incorporated once World Traffic publishes his API to allow it.

Make sure you have the radio turned on, the P2A power indicator green, and you are tuned to a frequency that has a controller, like the local ground frequency.

Also, check that the Play Chatter option is checked in Config and that you have a default Region selected.

 It should work.

Thanks but i managed to fix it.

Seems like at first it didnt work because the region doesnt have audio file for Del (its South America). Then, i switched to Tower and i heard the audios but it didnt work unless I unchecked pause after each file, which fixed itself after I changed the folder organization.

Question: is there any way to hide or disable  the volume pop-up in Windows 11?  Often (but not always), when I press PPT in P2A or get a bit of voice chatter, the volume pop up appears. Not only is it annoying, it will cause a momentary loss of audio when it pops-up.

I've tried searching general Win 11 support forums that suggest there is no way to disable it, but hoping you may have found a way around this.

I have a PC with stuff in it

Randomize works correctly.  It only works when you are using the Controller Folders Sound Source.

That is what I am using. But I am always getting the same irish fella talking about runway 28 lol

I wonder if there is a list which shows  which countries are covered in which region? Is P2ATC switching automatically from region Europe to region Canada during a flight from EDDF to CYUL?

I have updated the clip collection with 1,050 new clips in multiple regions.

You can use the FS-ATC-Chatter 1.2.3 player or X-ATC-Chatter player to get the updates, it should detect the update and give you the opportunity to download those new clips. Once they are down you can copy the updated Regions over to Pilot2ATC per the User Guide.

IMPORTANT: You must be running version 1.2.3 to get this update:

If you are an avid FS-ATC-Chatter or X-ATC-Chatter user please consider writing a review of the product. It helps other users who may be considering ATC-Chatter.

Hi Mark can we no longer just download the updated clips without needing FS-ATC-Chatter or X-ATC-Chatter?
I only use the clips in P2ATC and would prefer not to have to add the player just to get the updates.
