Searching for a good A330

Featured Replies

Im searching for a good payware A330 for flying in VATSIM. Which one is better, the Wilco or BBS A330?

Is the BBS A330's systems more realistic than Wilco's?

I don't have either of those but Aerosoft have one under development and they stated a few weeks ago that it should be released early next year. From a systems viewpoint Aerosoft have had a lot of experience simulating Airbus systems for their A320 family range, so I would expect the systems quality of their A330 to be good.

Can't really comment on the BBS or Wilco A330's as I've never flown them. Personally, i'm waiting for the Aerosoft A330 which should be released early next year.

Go with the BBS model. While still in Prologue stage plane looks great + there is a new update for Prepar D V4 expected by month end.

Seriously, it is still in beta? I just checked, you are right. And so is their A320, which I ceased to fly 3-4 years ago.

Hmm I guess I will wait till the Aerosoft's A330 releases... heard their A320 series are PMDG level aircrafts. Thanks so much:biggrin:

rumour has it that the Aerosoft A330 will not be available for FSX, or FSX steam, just P3D..which is a bummer...but i could be wrong, same as Matt Davies A380, only available for P3D and Xplane 11

Steam has the Wilco/Feelthere A330 and A340 there. At least for Argentina the prices are tempting; specially if you purchase the whole Airbus bundle (I didn't, I've purchased mine 7 years ago for FS9). External model is awful, but you can merge it with Thomas Ruth's model and then you get something decent until Aerosoft releases theirs.

Mobile rig: ASUS Zenbook UM425QA (AMD Ryzen 7 5800H APU @3.2 GHz and boost disabled, 1 TB M.2 SSD, 16 GB RAM, Windows 11 Pro). Running FS9 there .

VKB Gladiator NXT Premium Left + GNX THQ as primary controllers. Xbox Series X|S wireless controller as standby/mobile.

Aerosoft's and Wilco's are good. Like Luis Hernandez says above the Thomas Ruth's model is also good.
