What happened to my NGX?

Featured Replies

Enclosed please find a picture. My specs are I7, 4.4ghz, GTX 980ti, 32gb Ram, Win 10 64. This only happens to my add-ons suddenly. I would really appreciate any ideas.

Hi,

Looks like corrupted textures. You may try to delete the shaders folder and let it rebuild when starting the sim just in case, though I'm not sure it would fix your issue.

If it is really is an issue with corrupted texture then a reinstall might be required but before doing this I would advise you to submit a ticket to PMDG support to confirm because unnecessary reinstallations may bring more problems than it solves.

Unless you specifically changed something yourself, my bet would be a graphics driver that got downloaded in a Win update, and the driver is bad. Happens all the time.

Thanks, I updated the Nvidia driver but I have the same problem. Any other ideas?

Thanks

Delete P3D.cfg and restart the sim.  Make sure to leave all modifications out of the .cfg.

Did you try to delete the shader folder and let the sim rebuild it as Romain suggested?

If yes you can try what Rober suggested with the cfg.

What Antialising are you using in the sim?

Deleting the shaders is a routine step whenever you change video drivers. Maybe, as Kyle mentioned, your driver was updated by WU.
