December 1, 20178 yr So i know on what is now the "Legacy" 747, PMDG had the -800 and LCF varients. Are there any plans to bring it back for the current version? I would love to be able to fly a BLCF flight in an actual LCF not the Atlas Livery. signatures confuse me. Hi! Lee Rey Student Two (S2) Controller

Welcome to the PMDG forums, please note their forum rules (see the pinned topic) ask us to sign all our posts with our full name. The 747v2 expansions you mentioned were cosmetic only, there were simply a modified external model so even if you wanted to fly one you were still flying a stock B744. I think you mean -8 rather than -800, regardless PMDG has not announced any extensions to the product beyond the half dozen airframes with three engines in most of them, all with different flight models. They are doing a B747-8, in some stage of late development now, and will announce it here when it goes to technical and beta testing. Dan Downs KCRP

December 3, 20178 yr Author Ok! so they are going to update the -8. awesome. Now I can dwarf the 777. now one other question...on the FMS you got the ACARS, ATC, and SAT. while one of those options isn't viable for sim use, ACARS and ATC are I would like to think. And word on making them fully working? Like the ACARS in the FMS could be connected to FSUIPC and then connected to your ACARS to track the flight. another sense of realism I guess you could say. and the ATC could be used for oceanic when they are on and using CPDLC. no more need for Hoppie. get them working on the queen then transfer that knowledge to the 777 for that FMS? I would really like to see that happen. haha signatures confuse me. Hi! Lee Rey Student Two (S2) Controller
December 3, 20178 yr They are working on it... Knowing PMDG it will be implemented within weeks ... (LOL) Regards, William Vrielynck
