April 17, 200620 yr Here are a couple of shots, my repaints of the Aerosim 100, and 500, and Erick Cantu's -100. They are all great models. Ericks is pretty much done at this point.Hornithttp://x-plane.org/home/hornit/A100.jpghttp://x-plane.org/home/hornit/A500.jpghttp://x-plane.org/home/hornit/Ec100.jpg

April 17, 200620 yr Author >sorry for drifting away from the original topic....>>//MichaelI also apologise for driftng away from the topic.Hello Michael, thankyou very much for the link to the IL-76 panel I will check it out and see what I can glean from it. :-hahMy IL-76 panel was just an experiment out of a desire to fly the venerable IL-76. The photoreal bitmaps are my own but the gauges are straight from the PT IL-62. :) (apart from the GPS unit on the glareshield ...for some reason I could not get the KLN-90 to connect to the autopilot...but I'm sure I'll figure it out one day. ) regardsEd My FS9 Videoshttp://img.photobucket.com/albums/v640/edetroit100/holy.gifAMD Athlon 64 3500+, 1024Mb PC3200 DDR, 300Gb HD 128Mb DDR Nvidia 6600GT PCI Express, Audigy 2 ZSCH Products Yoke, Pedals and Throttle Quadrant My FS Videos
July 17, 200619 yr Speaking of which... Whats the link to Mr. Cantu's wonderful L1011? :-jumpy Chase Barnett
July 17, 200619 yr Definitely the Aerosim package. In addition to the many favorable comments already noted, I think the SOUND package is very realistic. The RB-211 makes a very distinctive 'Roll-Royce' sound that has been captured beautifully by Aerosim. They sounds are great, both outside and in the cockpit. The panel is simpler than the procedure based simulators with detailed modeling of systems and controls, but it is just about right (a nicely balanced compromise between ease of use and fidelity).Todd
