What a great investment FSUIPC is. Really helps when you mess up a landing. A great teaching tool in that respect. Stan Haven't that introduced "long frames" or some stutters (which may happen when it kicks in to save the flight)? Best regards, Wanthuyr Filho Instagram: AeroTacto

Check your antivirus. I was having long frames until I excluded the folder where the auto saves were going. Now I don’t even know when the saves happen. James

That's all I have on my computer and excluding the folder stopped the pausing. If you've somehow got the built-in disabled, disregard and carry on.

Best of luck , but none of those things are going to happen. Other than sloped runways (which are doable in P3d but mess up AI aircraft), the other three suggestions are already provided by 3rd party add-ons. LM tends to work with the developer community rather than trying to put it out of business. Unfortunately, this design model costs users a lot of money and introduces support issues when add-ons either conflict or fail.

Most of what I've listed should be standard out of the box, at least imho. ATC and AI have been neglected for years. Jacek G. These changes are too big for a point release. They are more than likely to be included in a V5, if at all
December 21, 20178 yr As a reference, Laminar has figured out the same approach with XP11. Other than sloped runways, the other 3 items in your list leave a lot to be desired in the base XP11 (as does weather generation and seasonal changes). However, eventually the XP developer community became diverse enough to provide solutions to those problems also. It's a fact of life these days and also why P3d and XP11 are now dominating the market. I agree with the validity of your requests but I'm just realistic about market structure and pressures.

Sloped runways and database updates are coming, confirmed by LM in the Q&A but no timeframe, likely in v5 as stated above. LM is all about building a platform for devs to branch off of, not being a jack of all trades. Thus, they will create the framework to allow for things to be done, such as in removing limitations in th PDK and adding new features to it. Thus, I’d expect ATC won’t be touched for a while, as it is a pretty low priority in the grand scheme of things. Same goes for AI, more or less.

In Defender settings, I would try excluding the P3d files folder (if I recall correctly, that's where the autosaves go) as well as the folder where any panel save would go (e.g. if you're using PMDG aircraft, in the panelstate folder for that aircraft) from scanning. That completely eliminated the autosave pauses for me. James
